⭐ Must Read: News Update - ประเด็นร้อน

I guess it is time to do my monthly update. Since my last post we haven't done much besides Cami being in soccer because JD was recouping from surgery and I was still working on a schedule with Ollie. So highlights from the past month are

*Cami started soccer. She loves her team and her coach and has improved since the spring. She has lots of fun and keeps everyone happy with her cheerful enthusiasm and giggles.

*Cami is doing well in school and loves her teacher She is good about doing her homework and is a good little reader.

*Ollie is now two months old! I can't believe how fast time goes by. He is 11lbs 1 oz and 21 3/4 in long and head is 15 1/4 in around. He is rolling up on his sides and sucking on his hands and fingers and smiling so much. He loves to coo at you. He is a little bit spitty, poor baby and so he gets a little fussy with that. Some days our schedule works out wonderful and some days not so much. He has had some really good nights with long stretches, but most of the time just a 4-5 hour stretch once and then every three again. During the day it is about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and he is a bit tricky to put down.

*Ollie was blessed Sunday the 9th of Oct. It was a sweet blessing and a tender mercy that he was calm during the blessing :)

*JD's family came to visit! They were here for just a short visit for Ollie's blessing, but it was good to have them. We took them to the beach, which was Ollie's first trip and the first time we have really been out doing something other than going to Cami's soccer games.

*General Conference- it was good to listen to our leaders and gain perspective on my life. I am so grateful for the gospel and grateful for a chance to refocus on the things that are most important. There were lots of messages on knowing the doctrine of Christ, repentance and trying to do better. Also a lot on sharing the gospel and not letting our doubts get in the way of what we do know and weaken our faith.

This was shortly after JD's surgery, and I was so tired. I love snuggling with my little one.

Friday night pizza and a movie night. We started doing this a little over a year ago and it has stuck. Cami loves it and really looks forward to it. I make homemade pizza most of the time, but I think the past couple months we had a few take out nights :)

Cami had a parade the morning before her first game of the season. It was a lot of fun, but super hot! The poor kiddos were all dripping sweat by the end of it!

I think this is from the next weeks soccer game, Cami scored 2 goals and she was so excited!

Cami just adores Ollie and reads to him and plays with him. She loves to give him his binky and talk to him. She is a good big sister.

One saturday Cami had a double header and it rained in between games and Cami decided it would be great to jump on the trampoline with Dad's umbrella! So funny! She played out there for 30 minutes with that umbrella in the rain.

Most of the time Ollie enjoys his baths. The first time I think it scared him a bit, but now he likes them.

Cami built a fort in the office and named it Quail Hideout.

Ollie's room all finished! We started putting him down for bed in there just last night with the monitor. It wasn't great the first night so hopefully he will get better at sleeping through the night.

Cami already picked out her Halloween costume and we found an idea on pinterest and then I made this! She is the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Stay tuned on Halloween for the rest of the family costumes!
