Our Thanksgiving

Here is what our Thanksgiving looked like this year :) So glad we are all better now and the house is all sanitized!

Family Pictures 2012

All I can say for the last week and a bit is wow. It has been crazy and life has been a little busy, but we were forced to slow down a bit due to some illnesses in the family. JD and Cami came down with some kind of stomach bug on Thanksgiving morning and so we spent Thanksgiving watching movies and napping. JD and Cami "feasted" on Saltines and chicken noodle soup and bananas. I ate leftovers, until a sweet friend from the ward brought Thanksgiving leftovers from the party we were going to attend. We are lucky to have some good friends and support while we are here so far from family! Before we got sick we were able to get some family pictures, which I included and hope you enjoy! Yesterday we got to put up our Christmas tree, which for any of you who know JD know that it is way behind schedule. This is due to JD being sick so often lately and me being so busy and JD said we couldn't put up a Christmas tree while our "Thankful" tree was up. So we waited till after Thanksgiving! I think that about catches us up. JD has started the second quarter for this year and Cami is successfully daytime potty-trained. I think we will tackle night-time training later. I am busy with Young Womens and work and keeping up with everything and planning for the holidays. I sadly ran out of space on google for photos and and working on figuring out a solution...we are using flickr for the moment , because I don't really want to purchase storage space..any other ideas let me know!

"I need some Chocate" and Potty Time

This past couple weeks has been a little crazy, JD got over a cold then had finals and worked really hard then came down with another nasty cold/infection. Cami and I embarked on potty training this past week, and other than naps and bedtimes has done very very well! I am very grateful! I was not excited for battles with our very strong willed child. She is talking so much and I am so grateful for the disappearing language barrier. She also keeps us laughing with her funny comments and sweet big smile. She loves being tickled and will often come up to us and say "tickles?"

For Family Home Evening last week we made a "Thankful Tree". You can't tell from the pictures but the leaves have things we are thankful for and we will add throughout the month. We have so very much to be grateful for and really need to express it often! As a side note, our leaves have to be on the tree otherwise they would be all over the house.

Cami discovered "chocate pudding" and sometimes tells me she "needs some chocate"

A project in progress, I found these letters at Hobby Lobby for 50% off so I got them and modge podged some scrapbook paper to them...I want to paint the edges, but haven't had time, but I thought it was cute as is for now.

Mommy and Cami snuggling before work during Sesame Street. Cami has loved snuggling lately and I couldn't be happier.
