Father's Day

Dave's mom sent this beautiful dress for Jayla. It accentuates her pale skin. ;)

We kept things pretty simple this Father's Day, but my sister Rachel helped me with a little photo shoot to recreate a picture of Dave around the same age.

Dave is so great. I love watching him as a father. He's so good with the kids and they worship him. They often stand in front of the door to try and block his way so he can't go to school. They call him every day at lunch time to chat and they're usually running to the door when they hear him pull in. He's amazing!

Jayla Birthday

Our little Sweetums is 2! It's gone by so quickly I can't even believe it. We're so grateful to have this sweet girl in our family.

We celebrated that night at a friends house. Swimming and a smoked pork butt. So yummy.

She still looks at candles and says, Owwww.

Water Fun

The first few times she kept getting stuck like this and couldn't get her leg into the pool.

Going to a friends house to play. Now that she finally has some hair I like to try new things.

Back home again. Popsicles prolong the outside enjoyment.
