Organizing Space

My husband is a great organizer/packer. He can fit lots of things in a little space. He has tried to teach me how over the years, but usually I just defer to him and let him pack the car, organize the garage, etc. However, he was out of town and the garage needed some rearranging. I got things packed pretty tight, I remember his counsel…use all the space….Don’t you think he will be happy that I only have about two inches of wasted space between his Cadillac and his motorcycle?? AND on the other side, I was able to get the Jeep within an inch of his “tractor.”

4th of July K-town Parade

Isn’t it fun to watch a parade? We had a great time. We gathered candy, necklaces, popcorn balls, Frisbees, stuffed animals and shared them with the children around us. We found and returned a lost 2-year old boy…he was pretty cute and I did have thoughts of keeping him, but Paige notified the police when I wasn’t looking. Although there are many pictures of us in our stylish foam visors, Kylee and the D’ettes in true military parade form, horses, cars, floats, etc…this was one of my favorites……

Pretty Bird!

Look at this pretty little bird that landed on my window sill. We have lots of different birds this year and I love to hear them sing in the morning and evening. I tried to identify this bird and I think it is a Western Tanager or an American Goldfinch!
