Dad couldn't really tell the size of the puppies because of my close-up photography. I took these photos, so he could get some perspective.... Brilliant Idea!!! They loved his softball mitt..I'm sure Dad won't mind a little chewing...Right????

Guess what my daughter admitted today??? The test is easier if you actually read the book. Wow! Will wonders never cease? Let's see how long that theory works.

Christmas Tree

We finally got the Christmas tree up this weekend. We're quite happy with it. It might be a little crooked, but I Photoshopped it and straightened it out, so you prob'ly can't even tell. I didn't really know how to screw the base into the stand, (plus remember there is me and that whole power tool thingy) so it'll be okay...Right?...What????...look closer...are those presents 'neath the tree?

Oh nope, those are just plastic boxes used to support the tree. Pretty smart, huh? Those scrapbooking supplies can be used in lots of ways...see hubby, I'm getting my moneys worth. Now what are those silver ornamanets reflecting the light so beautifully????

Oh that is just the "duck" tape we used to hold some of the branches together. Doesn't that give it that homegrown feel? I think we did a pretty good job. What do you think? Charlie Brown or Redneck?????

Where Did You Go Without Me?

As I was sitting in the airplane, waiting for the last leg of the trip to be complete, I was proud of myself...I was able to get all my stuff in one small suitcase...I made it through customs and security (both TSA and Germany) without a problem both coming and going...I still had my children with me...I am a world traveler...I can do it...when my daydreaming was interrupted by the stewardess asking, is this your passport??? What!!! Where had I dropped my wallet? How did it find me?

That wire that I cut really didn't do anything, right? 'Cause all the 'lectricity in my house still works, so it was probably just a ground wire. I stuck both halves in the ground...now my 'lectricity is twice as good, right????

On the positive side however, the bushes are trimmed and ready for winter.

Just letting you know I am still here. Nothing new today.
