SAINTS to SINNERS July 27, 28th, 2012

Salt Lake City, UT to Las Vegas, NV.  well, pretty close to those two places anyhow.  5 cyclists, 500+ miles, and no sleep...or very little at least.  Chris is already talking about a 2 man team next year. he had fun :)

Utah Quick Trip July 26th 2012

It was a lot of work to get away, a lot of stress. crazy!, but we have great friends and family who took the 4 older kiddos and we drove up to Utah for Chris and our friend Graham to participate in a relay race with a few other friends (Chris, Graham, Sam, Eric and Adam were the 5 on the team).  The first evening we got there I had to meet up with my family in Alpine/Highland, and go to a new yogurt shop, Maui Chill.  4 of 5 pike kids.

Prescott, AZ July 21 2012

We were planning all summer to head up to Prescott to visit Chris' grandparents.  Chris' cousin Ben was visiting from out east and his grandma asked if we could all come up while he was in town.  We had a lot of birthdays to celebrate as well (july is just a busy bday month!) so we headed up! Chris and his Dad decided they wanted to ride their bikes up the mountain.  Dad Carbonneau decided he would actually start IN BUCKEYE and then we met him at the bottom of the hill for  Chris to start the climb with him.

 We had fun cheering them on and we wish we could have followed them longer, but the kids were getting a little stir crazy.

 Great Grandpa Bochat tried to give Emali some chocolate frosting, but she new better than to even think about licking it. ;)  she didnt move at all and just let it sit on her lips.

 Great Grandpa collects some amazing things. A friend gave him this pilot helmet/mask/backpack to go with his golf cart that he attached to a jet engine. :)

Bucket O Blood 2012 (july 7th, 2012)

The last 2 yrs we have gone to Holbrook, AZ to hang out with Alli and Kyle and race in the Bucket of Blood races...well, Dad Carbonneau and Chris do the awesome bike race and Mom Carbonneau and Kati and Kids do a water station at Alli and Kyle's big half marathon race that they run (put on), and then we hang out at Alli's BOWtique table and eat yummy food.

This year they twisted Chris' arm and got him to be a BBQ judge.  Can I just say that our new family vacation schedule may be dripping with BBQ sauce? ;)
he had fun :) a lot, of fun.
