Joy School Sept 3rd

Joy School day two still on the Joy of the Body Unit, we always have free play time, and then we had jello jigglers and made Gingerbread men by rolling out each body part.

Play time Sept 1st

I decided to teach the boys how to play CLUE. We put all of our cards face up and I helped them write down what cards they were shown. If you made a prediction everyone who could stop you showed you all of their cards that stopped you instead of one at a time to make it go faster. It was a hit and Wesly already has cuaght on so that we really should hide the cards cause he can guess who is missing while looking around and not waiting to be shown. :)

I love it when all three of the boys play together. Not sure what they were imagining...plane flight? trains? cars? they were having a good time that day though.

Getting ready...AUG 30th

The boys are both in Joy School this year. So when it was time to get their pictures taken for the Joy School house (attendance board) we had a little photo shoot.

Travis, 3 1/2, first year of Joy School.

Nathan getting ready for church. Every Sunday he tried to wear his crocs. He loves his crocs and wants to wear them everywhere. So he usually cries about 5-10 minutes after we put church shoes on him. "CROCS! CROCS!"

Geocaching on the way home Aug 23rd

Geocaching and letterboxing are fun activities to do as a family.  We did some geocaching before we went home from our weekend in the woods.

You can take a treasure if you replace it w/ something you bring.

We also found this cute guy.

We made our own Geocache off the I-40 at the exit we tok to go camping.  It was fun to make our own treasure box to hide.

Carbonneau Family Camping Aug 22nd

We decided to get Chris' family together to go camping this summer and we loved every minute!  It was beautiful up in Williams and we had great food and great company!

Nathan really took to Uncle Steven and Grandpa Bochat,  he could get them to walk around with him and he loved the attention.

We got EVERYONE to play horseshoes and Chris made an official bracket tournament and we had a trophy for the winner.  It was SO FUN, mostly that everyone stayed and watched each other and cheered each other on!
