I must say that I have been feeling the pressure to take some good pictures. I have been know to take so bad pictures but after reviewing the pictures I....

1. so have some bad ones (Example- look at the book that Mom and Dad gave us for Christmas)

For Anyone We Didn't Already Tell This To

With regards to this post, we were watching Newsies today, and in the middle of the movie Maren hopped down from the couch, took the family Christmas card off the fridge, said, "He looks like this guy," and pointed to Hansen.

Garage Selling

Christopher and Sarah went garage selling this morning...and look what they got for 1 dollar! Pretty good steal!

Viola Mei

she is getting to be such a cute girl!! I can hardly stand it. Granted this is not her cutest outfit, but look at that grin!

Big things are happening...

we got the girls bunk beds!! We were able to score these on craigs list for only 60 bucks! I am very pleased and the girls love them. Now we are going to be moving Viola into their room...wish me luck!

Sarah's fingers are the perfect size for legos! She loves having lego fingers and doesn't understand why she can't get them on my fingers.
Ever since Lillian came and visited, my girls are much more interested in dressing up! Here is princess Avery and super hero Sarah!

Here is my attempt of straightening Avery's hair. It is actually getting long!

I don't know if you can see in this picture, but Sarah actually wore a clip in her hair for 4 hours one day! We just had to document it!

James is now 4 months old! He is 27 inches long and weighs 14.5 pounds!

Some Sunday Pictures

 How he always ends up under the couch, I don't know, but he seems to like it there. He's so close to actually crawling.  He scoots all over. And he gets up on all fours and rocks and does this funny thing where he shakes hips back and forth, but he hasn't figured out how to make his arms go too.  He will be our first mobile baby since Maren didn't do any of this stuff.

 She often strikes poses and asks me to take pictures of her (watch out, America's Next Top Model...she can be the Mormon contestant!).  Here, I think she's imitating Viola as a stranded turtle. :)

Now Simon has joined the Blake Bowtie Club! I'd say he's the best looking member, but I know I'm biased.  He especially loved getting drinks at church without having to hold his tie out of the way.

I am a Georgia Voter!

Yesterday I went to vote for the GA primaries! I walked in and the lady working said, "Are you here to vote?". I said yes I am! She replied to me saying, "Sorry, sometimes I forget that the voting age was lowered from 21 to 18!".

Pretty awesome! Someone out there thinks I am still younger than 21!!!

Rockets!

Maren wanted to make rockets today, and Simon stepped up to the plate.  I gave a couple ideas, but it was really all him, and I think they turned out so cute! I especially love the crepe paper fire. And Ezra especially loved it when he got to watch these fly around him.  When they were finished Simon slumped onto the couch and said, "Crafting is tiring!"

A few things that I want to share.

I have been potty training Lillian for a little over a week now (well...the real hard core potty training). And yesterday she didn't have a single accident!! I'm so proud of her, and of me!

Viola somehow has never learned to roll over. I mean she has done it a couple of times, but never on purpose. She has looked startled and terrified the very few times she has rolled over. Now she is crawling like a pro, all over the house. So, this morning I changed her diaper on the ground and then walked away forgetting that she couldn't roll over and get to crawling all on her own. I mean, she is like turtle, she was just stuck there! It was so funny!!

Alice has started dreaming. Well, according to what to expect she was dreaming in the womb, but she has started telling me about her dreams when she wakes up. The girl is a crack up. The other night she dreamed about a dinosaur that crawled into bed with her. Another time Lillian was in jail. But most often grandma is in her dreams and they are holding hands (cute).

and yes, apparently Lillian's smile can get even weirder! This is her new, updated, revamped smile!,

Missionaries for dinner

We had the elders for dinner and I made chicken pot pie. Bek always likes to decorate so she made elder tags on the pies. We email the pictures to their parents. Fun night
