We have been talking a lot in our scripture study lately about the different name for Jesus Christ. So, the other night we read a scripture that talked about the Messiah. We asked Alice who the Messiah was. She thought for awhile about it and then said, "Simon."

We went to the Riverwoods for FHE tonight to see the lights (a thousand times better than Temple Square and much, much closer).  We figured Maren would not want to get near Santa, but when she found out it was the only way to get a candy cane, she got right in line. Apparently she wants him to bring her a Barbie.  This was news to us!  Men's Chorus was singing there tonight too, and for some reason they brought llamas with them.  Are llamas festive?  I don't know, but it was definitely funny.

We announced to Alice and Lillian that we would be making cookies for FHE tonight. Alice really need to qualify what this evening's activities entailed. Alice exclaimed "We're making cookies?!" Yes, we are making cookies. After moment of thought, she asked, "Yay! . . . But do we get to eat them?" Apparently making cookies in the Rygg house does not mean getting to eat said cookies.

Viola got her second tooth!!

All my kids slept through the night last night!! And slept in until 7:30!!!

Jon is done with his first semester of classes!!

Jon goes to a new school! Only sort of. Some guy donated a huge amount to money to Jon's law school, so they renamed the school after him. So, now Jon goes to IU Mckinny! This is a really great thing for the school, and we are excited about what it mean for Jon's education!! Of course it had to happen right after Becky bought us our shirts!! (actually all our shirts just said IU, so they still work.) Thanks again Becky!!

Alice has 6 more days of school!!

We are extremely excited to go to Texas for Christmas!
