WARNING!

Be careful when you go sledding! My niece and her boyfriend came up to visit and we went sledding. Well, I got some air that I wasn't ready for and ended up breaking my back! Let me tell you it was so painful and the whole hospital experience was a nightmare as usual. But now im back home in a brace and stuck in bed for at least 6 weeks. No moving or doing anything! Im still in a lot of pain and very sick to my stomach. But I am very grateful to have not had to have surgery and to be able to move and not be paralyzed!!!! Something bad could have happened and changed my life forever, and I am just so blessed to be able to heal and be fully recovered in 6 weeks. But please be careful out there playing in the snow!

Merry Christmas Eve... Eve

The night before Christmas Eve we always make a gingerbread house together. Bentley did such a good job. I would put the frosting on and then Bentley would put everything else. I think he ate way more then he put on the house, but thats ok. You gotta let go once in awhile, right?

I Need Help!

So... Bentley is still in the process of being potty trained, I know... sad but true. He just hasn't been ready. However, lately he is doing really well. Theres only a few times when he goes in to pee and I check and his diaper is a little wet. So for the most part he runs in and goes. I think he just gets caught up in playing or something and forgets sometimes. So heres my question... When do I go from pull ups to big boy undies? I tried them the other night but he had an accident, so I just went back to pull ups. Do I wait until he has no accidents, or til he only has a few? Send some advice my way, thanks!

Little Hammies

He is now 4 months old, so we finally got to feed him rice cereal!!! Im not sure he knew quite what to do with it and I think he is still not so sure about the whole thing. He's getting better though. I just love giving them something other then a bottle especially when he eats every 2hrs! Im burned out on the formula thing. I hope he starts going longer. He is so cute though and getting so big. He has the cutest smile and is so huggable!

Breakfast With Santa

Since Bentley is really into Christmas this year I wanted to do something fun with him. So today we went to... "Breakfast With Santa" at Thanksgiving Point. We got to sit and have a really nice breakfast and then the Grinch came out and sang Christmas carols with the kids. Bentley was in love with the Grinch! He told him his name and how old he was and even got a pic. with him. It so was not like Bentley. He is usually so shy and scarred. Santa was there and the gingerbread man. They had games, face painting and cookie decorating. I think he had a really great time.

Last Sat. was our 5 year Anniversary, wow 5 years! We decided to leave the kids with my mom and went up to Park City for the weekend. We had a blast!!! We stayed in this awesome suite at The Canyons that had a fireplace and Jacuzzi, we went shopping and went out to dinner and did a little more shopping. One of the best parts was that we had no little babies to worry about and were able to relax and get some sleep! But don't get me wrong, we missed the little monsters... a lot! It was just so much fun and I'm so grateful to have such a great hubby, thanks babe!

Santa

Every year we go to the Dickens Festival down in St. George and go see Santa. The only year Bentley has sat on his lap was when he was 3 months old. So this year I wasn't so sure how it would go. However, to my surprise he went up sat on his lap, and smiled for his pic. The min. he sat down on Santa's lap he looked up at him and said blue bike!! I guess you could tell that I had coached him a bit. At least it worked, and he looked pretty cute, a little frightened but still cute. And I love that Santa. He ain't no run of the mil Santa helper. He IS Santa!!!!

Christmas Early

Since I don't ever see my sister on Christmas, she never gets to see the kids open their presents from her. So we decided since I was gonna be there, we would have an early Christmas. We had a huge Christmas dinner, opened presents, and made a gingerbread train. We had so much fun being with all the family!

Pine Cone Penguins

I saw this cute idea, so we gathered up a bunch of pine cones and made these super cute penguins. Bentley thought it was really fun, and as you can tell so did I. I made them their own winter wonderland.

The Park

Theres a new park down in St. George. I think its one of the most fun parks I have ever been too, especially for adults! There are so many fun things to play on and the weather was beautiful! I think we went to that park 5 times while we were there.

Little Trip

So I took the boys down to St. George for a few weeks. We decided we could use some warm weather and fun times. We went shopping, out to lunch, to movies and all kinds of fun stuff. Then Ryan came down and we met up at his parents house for Thanksgiving. Bentley had a blast playing with the cousins and he especially loved Guitar Hero! A true drummer has been born! We had a great time!

Twilight

When I went I was fully prepared for it to stink, I heard from lots of people that they were really disappointed. And when they make books into movies its never the same as I had in my head and they always leave stuff out. However, I was very surprised... I loved it! Yes there was bad acting and things were different, but I still liked it a lot! Edward grew on me throughout the movie and I thought Bella did a really good job. I loved the baseball scene, it was pretty sweet! I actually really want to go see it again, so if anyone needs someone to go with just give me a call. Oh and I haven't blogged in forever cause Ive been out of town for weeks. I will get bloggin soon!

1. I love avocados. Bentley and I have one almost every day for our afternoon snack.
2. I am so addicted to the internet, especially blogging! I check my email and everyones blogs everyday! If I get 5 sec. of peace to myself, I run to my computer!
3. I use to want to be a party planner. In High School I always had the coolest parties and I loved nothing more then planning them. I almost like the planning part more then the actual party. I still love planning my sons b-day parties or any gathering that I can get my hands onto!
4. Lunch is my fav. time of the day! I could go without breakfast and dinner but I could never give up lunch. My all time fav. thing to do, is to go out to lunch!
5. I use to collect frog stuff. I love frogs, I always had them as pets and collected anything frog. I don't really collect anymore, but I still love the little guys. My boys will for sure have a few as pets.
6. I love line dancing! Every weekend in High School and College I use to go line dancing at this barn in St. George. I took Social Dance in High School as well. I just love getting up and dancing, although I haven't done it since I met Ryan.
7. I watch Good Things Utah every single day. I know its kinda lame, but thats how I learn so many things. I always know whats going on around Salt Lake to take the kids to, or where sales are. And they always have a project for me to do. I love doing crafts!

Trouble Maker

Today while I was talking on the phone and lost in blog world, my little boy did this! He has learned that when im doing certain things, im just to busy to come look for him. Lately he has been in a lot of trouble. He seems to be doing everything he can to make me mad and he dosent' even care that hes in trouble. He just keeps doing it! Do your kids get stuck in these phases? I just hope we can make it through soon, before he destroys my house!

I love Kung Fuuuuuuu

My child is crazy about Kung Fu Panda! We took him to see it in the theater and then I just bought it on Sat. when it came out. Since then we have watched it non stop from morning til night. Every time it ends he says... Panda again! I think he must have it memorized word for word by now, I do. It really is a cute movie though and little Hammie loves it too!

3 Months

Hamilton is 3 months old now, I can't believe how much he has changed! He is such a sweet little boy. He always has a big smile for everyone and is quite the chatterbox!

What the snow?

I didn't know I was gonna wake up to so much snow! Its really starting to look like Nov. and im getting really excited for the Holidays! Bentley was so excited he could hardly stand it, so I went through all our old winter clothes. Since I haven't bought him stuff for this year. And made a make shift outfit so he could go play. He had so much fun running around and now is begging to go out every sec.

Halloween Treats

We finally were able to make our annual Halloween chocolate mice and caramel apples. We kinda didn't have time before Halloween so were a little late, but o'well. It still was really fun!

Hammie's Blessing

It was already scheduled a few weeks ago, but since everyone was sick we had to cancel. Then at the last min. we decided to finally do it today! He looked so cute and thanks to my husband who did a great job. We are so lucky to have such an amazing little family and love little baby Hamilton so much!

Halloween

We didn't quite get everything done that we were gonna do, because of the hospital thing. But we did have a great time anywayz! I took the boys to Ryan's work and they, well Bentley went around and got candy. Then we came home and had the usual Halloween dinner, sloppy joe's, chips, pickles, and donuts. And just as it was raining we headed out to do some trick or treating. It wasn't so bad though and Bentley had a blast. We went with his best friend Peyton. I love the holidays, its just so fun with little ones.

I'm Home

Hamilton finally came home on Thursday! I was so excited to get him home, and just in time for Halloween too! So They Dr. said that the two cultures that came back with bacteria were just contaminated. Which means... he never had an infection in the first place. So, we worried, he got poked nine hundred million times and we spend 5 days in the hospital for nothing! So lame.. but I am glad that he is strong and healthy. Thanks to everyone for helping and for all the calls!

Hospital Woes

Well Sat. we took little Hamilton to the dr because he was still sick. So they admitted him to the hospital to get IV fluids. Then when they did blood work they found bacteria in his blood stream. So, He was put back on IV and antibiotic until at least Tuesday afternoon. Here I am sitting in the hospital watching him sleep with an IV in his head, its horrible!!!!!! It has been a nightmare these last 2 1/2 weeks and I just want to take my baby home and have everyone feel well. He has been through a lot lately... they had to try over 10 times to get the IV in since we've been here, he has had his foot pricked many times and I just cant stand to see him be hurting anymore. Please cross your fingers that he will be able to go home soon!!!!

Sick Kiddos

If you haven't yet had the flu this season, then run!!! It's short lived bad horrible! It has been making its rounds at our house for 2 weeks now and little Hamilton just can't seem to shake it off. Nothing is worse then having your kids sick, except having your 2 month old sick! He has been on a strict diet these days consisting of... Pedialite in a seringe every 15 min. and thats it. Try feeding a kid every 15 min. not so fun! I just hope he gets better soon!!!!!! I love my babies and I want them well!!!!! So I think its kinda nasty when people post pic.'s of their sick kids, but I couldn't resist. It was just too cute seeing these boys all sick in their pjs watchin tv in their chairs.

I finally finished it!!!! I know, its sad how long it took me. But since in the middle of reading I had a baby, it kinda slowed me down a bit. I thought it was really good and im just so excited to go see the movie!

Carseat Canopy

Hey everyone! So as you can see on the side of my blog, Ive decided to start selling these canopy's. I absolutely love mine. I never take it off the carseat, it shades Hamilton in the car and its so nice to drape over him when we go in and out of the car running errands, especially with it getting colder. Its really nice to have at church so he isn't disturbed and can sleep. And it works so much better then just laying a blanket over the carseat, when you do that its hard to hold on to the handle and the blanket keeps falling off and getting dirty. With this it has hooks that go around the handle so it dosent' go anywhere. and you can still get your hand around it to carry the seat. These are just so awsome. Please let me know if your interested in purchasing one. I will be selling them for 30.00 and you can tell me what colors you want or if you want flowers or polka dots. Just give me an idea of the theme you would like and I will see what I can do. Thanks!

Wee Little Witch

Bentley and I had a little quality time today. Just him and I went out to lunch and then to the Wee Little Witch thing at Gardner Village. We had so much fun! It was totally packed, but worth it. They had music going and all the kids were in their costumes dancing. They had all different kinds of crafts for the kids to do and face painting. He also had to ride the horsey of course and go to the petting zoo. I totally forgot my camera, so im really sad I didn't get pictures. But as soon as we got home I took a picture of his pirate skeleton. He was really excited about that! Im so lucky to have such a sweet little boy. He will always be my best friend and I hope we always have fun hangin together.

It's Done

Yeah, Yipee... Our fence is finally done. Its been a long time coming and im so happy to have it. Now I just wish we had more nice weather ahead of us to enjoy it.

Pumpkin Patch

I finally got the kids dressed in their Halloween shirts, and made it to the Pumpkin Patch. I love pumpkins and am always so excited to go. Bentley loved picking out his perfect pumpkin!
