Christmas

I love Christmas time, its the best! We were lucky enough to have a white Christmas, which made it for me! Bentley was so cute in his new Christmas jammies, and he was soooo excited for Santa to come. He kept saying Santa was gonna bring him presents. On Christmas morning we told him that Santa had finally came, so he jumped out of bed and ran down the hall. He just stood there with his mouth open, he was so overwhelmed. He ran over to his train table first, which I knew was gonna be his fav. Then he took his time and enjoyed opening all his presents. His face was just so cute, he was so excited and happy! It just made it so awsome. He sure caught on to the whole Christmas thing fast, not too long after we were done opening our gifts he kept coming up and saying more presents??? He was pretty upset that it was all over. I hate it when its over too! The holidays are the best time of year. Its so sad to take everything down. I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Best Friends

Ever since we brought Bentley home from the hospital, him and Danzee have been the best of friends. Danzee follows him everywhere he goes and watches over him. And Bentley loves to share his snaks with Danzee. The other day I looked over and saw that Bentley was dipping his craker into cheese and letting Danzee take a lick and then he would have a bite, ewwww I know! I will always come to see what Bentley is up too and I will find him petting Danzee, giving her huggies, or just looking at her face. If he can't see her then he goes looking for her. Im so glad that we have her around for him. Its been so nice for him to have a little friend.

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We went down to St. George so we were able to see all our family. It was so nice to get away for a bit and spend time down there. We went to the Santa Workshop and then Ryan went home on Sat. night. And left Bentley and I down there to shop. We got to go to Krumpets, which is my fav. store! And we went to the Dickens festival. This guy named Josh hand sculpts santas and I love them! I got one last year and I was able to get another one this year to add to my collection. It was really a lot of fun!

That's my little man

What a boy! He's been so into the wii lately, here he is... with cheetos all over his face, sprite down his shirt and a cup in one had and the wii controler in the other. He actually kicks butt at it, he plays baseball and tennis on there. You wait and see, he's gonna be quite the sports star!

Coming to an End

So this Sunday is the last race of the season. But lets not get too sad, only a few months and it will be back again! Here are some pictures from past races, im really looking forward to the race in March! Go Dale Jr.!!!!

Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins on Tue. night. I found these things called fright lights that are for younger kids. So instead of them being mad cause they can't carve, they get to hammer these lights in. Bentley thought it was the sweetest thing ever. He had so much fun being able to hammr away on his pumpkin. And we did a star design because thats his fav. shape. And he thought it was really fun to blow the candles out as soon as mom would light them.

Happy Halloween!

We had so much fun on Halloween. Bentley got to frost Halloween cookies and we had sloppy joes for dinner. He got so excited everytime the door would ring, he would run over and be right there while we handed out the candy. And he was really excited to see his friend joseph, he kept laughing and I think was a little confused. We kept saying can you tell that its joseph and he would say uh huh. After dinner we put him in his little kangaroo costume and he was so freakin cute! I couldn't stand how adorable he was. He grabbed his bucket and was ready to go. He would walk up to each door and knock and just give them a huge smile when they handed him his candy and told him how cute he was. There was one house that had flickering lights and a smoke machine and I thought he would be afraid. But that turned out to be his favorite house. He would stand right infront of the smoke machine and watch the smoke come out and then said whered it go? He was just full of smiles and was so excited to pick out which candy he wanted and when he got home he didn't want to take his costume off. He just walked around and ate all his candy.

Dino Museum

I totally forgot to post this. About a week ago it was so cold and rainy, so we decided to take Bentley to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. It was really fun, because hardly anyone was there, so Bentley was able to roam around and do whatever. He loved pointing to all the skeletons and he especially liked playing in the huge sad pile.

Bentley's Halloween Party

Last night we took Bentley to his first Halloween Party. It was at "The Little Gym" where he takes a class once a week. It was so much fun! They had games, face painting, cookies, and trunk or treat. Bentley didn't even fight me on his costume, he put it on and was ready to party. He did a fishing booth, a bowling booth and this one game you had to throw a bean bag in the mouth of a pumpkin. He walked up and threw that bean bag right in the mouth, no problem. It had some sting on it too! While I was standing in line for one of the games he walked over to the bowling booth and went right up and did it all by himself. He knocked all the pins over so they told him to go pick out a candy, so he went over picked one out and put it in his bag and came over and got right back in line with me. He was so cute! And I was so proud of him, he was such a big boy! When we left and got back to our car he wouldn't get in until I gave him some candy, so he stood there and went through everything until he found the one he wanted. I think he had a really good time, and I thinks hes going to enjoy Halloween night!

Gateway

On Friday night we met my sister and her family at Gateway for dinner. And we picked just the best night ever to go. It was the night of the hanna montanna concert, so there was so much traffic! But finally we got there and were able to have a really great dinner. On the next table over there was the cutest little girl, and she had the hots for Bentley. She kept turning around and blowing kisses and waving at him. Then Bentley would get all shy and hide his face, it was so cute! Then we gave her a sucker and she was really excited. If she had only known her number Bentley could have walked away with it.

Do you need some paper?

Yeah so the other day I had to make cookies for Activity Days. So I decided Bentley could draw on his little table next to me, while I get a start on my cookies. I guess I got a little distracted and forgot to check on him. I looked down and saw him bent over drawing on his tummy. And he just thought it was awsome, he was pointing to all the little marks and telling me about them. Like it was his collection of tatoos. O'well at least it wasn't on my walls.

Paint

So today was Bentley's first time painting, and he loved it! Ryan and I had come up with this idea a long time ago, that we would have him paint on a canvas and then hang it up in his room. We thought that would be a fun keepsake. So I went out and got all the stuff and let him go to town. He was such a good boy. He let me put him in an old t-shirt and he sat at the counter and was so neat about it. He kept saying paint...paint. As soon as he would get low on paint he would say more...paint...more. He was so cute and so proud of himself.

Witches Night Out

On Friday my mom and I went to Witches Night Out at Gardner Village. It was so much fun, we went out to dinner and then headed out with our witches hats on. I couldn't believe how many people were there. On each side of the street for about 5 blocks before Gardner Village to 5 blocks past were filled with cars. Everyone was parked as close as they could get in every spot they could find. Once we finally found a spot and got in there we noticed how "into it" everyone was. It was filled with ladies that were all dressed up and had all kinds of makeup and huge hats. As you walked up and down the little "streets" all you could see were witch hats. It was decorated so cute, they had all the trees full of lights, and tonz of witches set up all over. They had booths were they had cackle contests, and fortune tellers. Right in the center they had this castle thing set up and on the top was a dj from one of the radio stations. He was playing music and all the witches were dancing below him. And you couldn't have asked for a better night, I had a t-shirt on and wasn't cold at all. It was just perfects weather. No wind or anything. It was really fun and I can't wait for next year!

First snow of the year

On Friday night I was outside until 9:00 P.M. and it was so warm and nice. I only had a t-shirt on and I wasn't cold at all. Then on Sat. it snowed and rained and was so cold! But look how beautiful the snow is, it gets me excited for Christmas!

It's fall y'all

Quack

So my friend Jill told me about this place to go to feed ducks. She said that they will come right up to you and that its really fun. Well, she wasn't kidding! We got there and couldn't believe how many ducks came swimming over. The min. they saw us walk up they swam over and started walking right up to us. Poor little Bentley didn't know what to think. He was so excited to see ducks, but I think he wasn't a fan of them taking the bread right out of his hands! As soon as you would start to walk back from them they just would keep following you and coming right up next to your leg begging for more bread. They would totally surround you! It was pretty awsome though, cause he got a close up look at ducks. And it was such the perfect day to be outside. Im sure that will be our new fav. spot to go.

Witch Hat

So im planning on going to "Witches Night Out" at Gardner Village. And its just for ladies and your suppose to wear a witches hat. So here is my hat that I just got done making.

Scarecrow Festival

Last week we went to the Scarecrow Festival with my cousin and her little girl. It was a little chilly, but we still had a good time. They had little areas where you could take pictures, Bentley wasn't so sure about the skeleton pirates. He would only get so close. We went on a train ride and then walked over and got to go through the petting zoo. Bentley fed the goats and rode the pony. The whole time we were in line he kept pointing to the same pony every time it would come around. So mom ran in and made sure he got to ride his fav. one. We also went on a wagon ride around Thanksgiving Point, it was pretty fun! Thank heavens we live so close to Thanksgiving Point, they always have so many fun things for families to do.

Gardner Village

Ryan, Bentley, and I went to Gardner Village the other day. It was so much fun, the weather was just perfect. All the leaves were changing and Halloween at Gardner Village is the best. They decorate so cute, with tonz of witches. Bentley thought they were pretty cool. Bentleys favorite part is the petting zoo. The one they have there is really fun, you get to go in and walk around with all the animals. Bentley loves being able to walk up and pet the baby cow, and the goats. And he gets a little frustrated with the ducks because as soon as he gets close to them they run away. The baby pigs are my favorite, their noses are just so cute!

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has announced his new number and sponsors.

Im glad that he is going to be 88, thats better then being a loser number like 5 or something. We'll see about the sponsors, the gear they have posted so far are dang ugly. Lets just hope that this 2008 season will be a turning point for Jr. Maybe we'll even see him win a race or two.

2 years old

Bentley had his 2nd Birthday party on Sat. He had so much fun with all his little friends. They played in the sandbox, went down the slide and ran around like little monsters! We even had a fishing booth for them to fish for toys. They ate all the pizza they could get and for dessert had little sherbet fish. Bentley got a snorkler cake all to himself with hershey kisses as the spikey hair. He took each one off one by one and would stick them on his table and lean over and bite the very tips of off each one. Thanks to everyone who came, we appreciate all the friends and family who love Bentley
