Yuu Yuu Hakusho Role-play
Welcome to Yuuhaku Desu, a semicannon Yuu Yuu Hakusho role-play.
It would be a pleasure to have you with us. There are no original characters, so please do not apply with any.
This is not your conventional, clichè role-play, focusing on romantic relationships, nor does it focus entirely on humour. The idea is to weave a storyline which involves everything the anime itself has; action, adventure, humour and romance, as well as character development and growth.
The roleplay itself takes place after the end of the series.
1.) It is absolutely requisite for you to have proper grammar and spelling. Type-o's and misspellings here and there are fine --- none of us are perfect --- but if you cannot type a coherent sentence, you will not be accepted.
2.) Up to two characters per player, unless given permission otherwise. [In those cases, please contact
guru_bi_ness and explain.] Respect this.3.) Stay as close to in-character as possible. Acting out of character is unacceptable.
4.) Do not apply with any original characters. This has been stated previously.
5.) If you have already made a journal for the character you're auditioning with, and apply with it, you will not be accepted. (Journals you use for other role-plays, but do not intend to use for this one, on the other hand, are acceptable.)
6.) Once accepted, be active. I cannot stress this more. We MUST hear from you at least once every week or two. If something comes up, please tell someone (E-mail to TsumetaiXKokoro@aol.com if necessary.) or post a hiatus notice at
yuuhaku_ooc. This is a redundant rule, but you would be surprised. Failure to participate will result in expulsion after two weeks considering the day you were warned due to inactivity.7.) Upon acting, please make posts in FIRST PERSON. The concept of this is that the characters actually have their own LiveJournals. What you post on is up to you, as long as you post IN CHARACTER, but it must be in first person. Maybe Yuusuke would say "I drank a soda today and it was really good. I'll have someone buy more sodas for all of you later. It was just that good!" (If you want to post on soda, also, you are welcome to; it is very good.)
8.) Do not harrass any of the other players. Keep personal issues personal, and deal with them outside the role-play.
9.) Though it is not always necessary, it is highly suggested you download AIM, if possible, for logging and contact purposes; most players here have AIM, so it is good to keep it easy. If the normal AIM/AOL version is not compatible, then try using AIM Express, found in the website listed before.
10.) Once you join, please make a post of your arrival in this community:
yuuhaku_ooc. It is required that you add every other character to your friends' list, so that you may see their journal entries, and, eventually, comment. This tool can be a great help with that! HERE11.) All logs created must be posted in
yuuhaku_logs. Cluttering your journal and the community journal is not needed.12.) And lastly, have FUN! We don't bite too often.

If there are any characters you would like to apply with that are not on the above table, but were in the series (enough to have a personality), don't hesitate to apply with them!
If you are declined, you have all the opportunity to re-write your audition, and apply once more. But there are only two chances; if denied a second time, PLEASE, do not apply again.
