Windows 365 for Agents provides a standardized, secured execution environment—supporting Windows and Linux—that ISVs can rely on to deliver scalable, enterprise‑ready agent experiences without building their own runtime or compliance layer. 
• Teams using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Agent 365, and related agent platforms that need a trusted execution layer when agents must move beyond reasoning and APIs into full UI‑driven work. In this model, Agent 365 governs the agent, while Windows 365 for Agents provides the secured Cloud PC environment where the agent’s work runs.
• Agent makers and developers building AI agents that must interact with full applications, authenticated websites, browsers, or legacy and line‑of‑business systems that APIs alone can’t reach. Windows 365 for Agents can provide compute for Microsoft first-party agents, third-party agents, or internally developed agents. While Agent 365 governs agent identity, intent, and oversight, Windows 365 for Agents provides the secured execution environment where that work actually runs. Together, they form an end‑to‑end enterprise agent platform that moves seamlessly from reasoning to action inside full applications.

Windows 365 for Agents is a distinct offering that works in conjunction with other Microsoft agent and AI solutions, delivering the secured, policy-controlled Cloud PCs agents need to operate securely, at scale, and under enterprise governance. It provides the secured execution environment for agents and integrates with services such as Copilot Studio and Agent 365, but it is not a feature add‑on to user‑assigned Windows 365 plans.

Windows 365 for Agents is billed on a pay-as-you-go model, based on hourly usage, making Windows 365 for Agents a cost-effective option for dynamic or burst-style workloads. It appears as a separate line item in customer billing. Agent capabilities and compute are billed independently from Cloud PC usage, allowing organizations to distinguish between agent functionality and the runtime environment used to execute tasks.
