Gah, it's Thursday, and it's bloody early in the morning. Ah well, there is a reason for me being up so early, which shall be explained later.

Not much happened last week really, at least not until Friday. Well, I forgot to go to the doctor's on Tuesday (4th), but my appointment was rebooked for the Tuesday just gone (11th), so that was good. And on Friday I rang up for my test results and got the all clear. And when I did eventually go for my asthma check up, she said I was improving, so that was good, and I don't need to go again for another year unless my asthma gets really bad again.

The nurse was good friends with my mum when they were at school, and she knows my family pretty well. So when she told me that I'm just like my mum when she was my age ("it's like stepping into a timewarp"), I believed her. So now I'm turning into my mother? GREAT.

I was in Sheffield on Saturday for a Bowlie party. It was great fun. I got wasted because Mike (the silly boy) bought a box of 12 Smirnoff Black Ices and he couldn't exactly expect me NOT to drink them. I think I drank about 9 or 10 of them in the end, so I was very drunk. And lots of people were smoking in a poorly ventilated room, so I had a massive asthma attack and had to be taken outside by Mike, Lisa and Jamie. So after that, Mike decided that we were staying with Mary-Ann, so we got a taxi to hers and slept there.

Sunday was spent in a pub, and then at the cinema watching Pirates Of The Caribbean, both whilst being rather hungover. Urgh. I think I'll be laying off the alcohol for a while now then.

On Monday I visited a school in Leeds that I want to apply to work at. It's in the middle of Beeston in Leeds, so it's quite a culturally diverse school, but I liked it. I'm definitely applying, not least because it's the highest paying of all the jobs I've looked at.

Yesterday I went to give blood. And I nearly passed out, because I am rubbish and didn't really eat much before I went. They wouldn't let me go for ages, made me lie there with a cold cloth on my head with my legs raised. Woo. And then I nearly passed out again when I was making beans on toast for my tea and my parents made me lie on the kitchen floor (not very comfy) with my legs on a chair. Serves me right really.

But anyway, yeah. This morning I got up early because I was buying Muse tickets for my mum and I. And I have succeeded! So roll on November 18th I say, Muse in Sheffield, ace ace ace ace.

Anyway, now I'm off to fill in application forms for jobs, and then I shall go into town to post them, and buy sweets, and look at pretty dresses because Mike and I are going up to Glasgow for my 21st next month and I want to look better than everyone else when we go out. It is my birthday, after all. And then I shall go to the jobcentre and moan at them because they still haven't given me any bloody money, gits.
