Awfully quiet 'round here. Thought I'd jazz things up with a few pictures from a convention last summer.

So.
Process.
I started with a tan foundation, then used a stipple brush and stippled on character shadow and brown. It's then that I remembered I have a bit of a sunburn right now, and when covering that up I messed up my previous work a bit.
Oh well, it's just a test.

I'm going to need some help with the bottom of my chin at-con. I think this plus actual hair stubble will combine nicely, I didn't put the actual hair on today because I didn't feel like chopping endlessly.

Obviously, the wig has not been styled yet. I'm a little apprehensive about it because I've never worked with a wig so short.

The sunglasses are the only ones I have, but I found them fitting despite how inaccurate they are. I tried to take pics which would show what's on the lenses, but alas, none of them turned out. So I'll just educate y'all, they're Batman sunglasses 8D

Originally, I'd thought to post a bunch of random pics dating back from when I began Sandman costuming. However, that turned out to be a lot more than I thought it would be.
So I'm breaking it down.

The first Sandman costuming I did was at Wondercon 2004, as Desire, with ironically my older brother as Dream, and kiraqueen as the lovely death:

The second go around was Wondercon 2005, reprising Desire with a few changes, and enlisting more people to our evil lovely cause.
This time kiraqueen switched roles to Del, Dr. Noe as Dream, mognetcentral as Death, and dsw_777 as Destiny.

Three of us met Neil Gaiman on Sunday. I pimped out two of my friends as Death and Dream, I went as The Corinthian instead of the Cluracan (read: LAZY). Neil thought I was Daniel er hur, but he did sign Matthew for me! He was particularly fond of our Death, I am particularly fond of her in my wig, it hasn't seen the light of day since I wore it for Zaphkiel. She makes a good death. Here are three pics from a Moroccan café, because all the pics from the signing are NOT on my camera grawr.

I tried on the wig I ordered for Mutton's Death so see how well it'd work for Morpho. Then naturally I had to put some makeup on.
And then of course I had to put on one of my black cloaks.
And, logically, the next step was to find some black pants.

And at that point, wouldn't it just be silly not to take a picture >.>
