03:53 pm: BSG Auction in Pasadena January 16-18
Flew down to Pasadena with the Colonial Fleet (colonialfleet.org) to help out with the BSG auction in Pasadena CA. Had a great time hanging out with Propworx, TCF and the cast and crew from the show. Managed to snag some cool pictures.

09:29 pm: Xbox Experience Part 2 - Johnny Sokko and his giant robot!!!
One of the things I looked forward to with the new Xbox experience is Netflix. You can stream movies or television programs to your Xbox. I get to try it out for two weeks for free. Then I can sign up for unlimited streaming for $8.99 a month. So far I've been watching Heroes Season 3, Inked, Trippin the Rift and what?!?! Johnny Sokko! Hilarious!

09:52 am: New Xbox experience meets Doctor Who?
So at 3 in the morning Weds the 19th, my Xbox prompts me to download the new update. One of the new features is that you can now make your own avatar... So here I am 3 in the morning fiddling with the settings and I accidentally ended up with the 10th Doctor. Go figure.



Oh... that actually is a brown little suit. The lighting is bad and may camera phone sucks.

09:08 pm: Xbox 360 + RROD = FAIL!
In the midst of saving the world from terrorists in COD4. My Xbox 360 decides to freeze... Okay... that's wierd. REBOOT. Jams. REBOOT. Jams... BLINK BLINK BLINK... (RED RING OF DEATH!) Grrr.... I'm not a hardcore gamer and I keep the sucker well ventilated, yet it dies on me.

On the bright side, the 360 was bought from Costco and had 2 months left before their 2 year electronics warranty expired. So I bring it back and I got full store credit back on a gift card. Why a gift card? They didn't have the Elite or any other 360 that has the HDMI port in store. These run much cooler then the older 360s. Oh well, you can order an Elite online from Costco.

I know Microsoft has a three year warranty for the RROD, but at least this way I get to upgrade to an Elite and it's new.

12:31 pm: 10 days till DCON...
I'm soooo busy at work it's not funny... Looking forward to damaging my liver. Prep the flight deck. This bird is coming in hot.

03:50 pm: Help! I need BODIES for San Diego Comic Con 2008
Actually, I need paying bodies...

I had a hotel room booked full of people a few months ago (5 to be exact). I've lost 3 and it's going to suck splitting the room cost for two. So I'm checking with all my friends going to SDCC if they want to share a room.

I'm staying at the DoubleTree (formerly Radisson)
Wednesday-Sun
It's within walking distance (less then a mile) and on the shuttle route
Cost for the room with taxes is $200 a night.
My other roomie is female and a really nice person.

So how about it?

02:02 pm: WiiFit and Con Weekend...
I was suppose to be on the second preorder list for this Friday... Which conflicts with my whole con weekend. Luckily the EB Games I ordered from had extras so I was able to get one today. Hope I don't hurt myself...
