How long ago did you last play the game? Were you on a different PC at the time? Were you using Linux?

If you played the game a long time ago, on the same PC, it's possible you have a backup Linux save file (even if you never used Linux) which you could simply rename as the main save file (follow the guide's instructions for where to go for your save files).

games basicly borken atm dodge builds wont work and the bots die way too easy who ever broke the game needs to be fired and banned from ever coding again

Thanks ill try this im pretty sure it was still on pc not linux

It also depends when was the last time you played. Back in the day, game didnt support Clout saves

it was before the new company took over. I think Id quit around the time the casino was added

By 'casino', do you mean Black Cat? That was released back in 2021. You should absolutely have a Linux backup save file as I mentioned that you could rename as the main save file; assuming you're on the same PC (as saves are stored locally, and on the Cloud if you enable it).

Or do you actually mean Golden Grin? Since that was back in 2015 and the game has undergone a few overhauls since then (most notably, the skill system), which may mean that your save file is so old that the game simply isn't able to handle it.

The golden grin. I just accepted my fate and will just restart. I looked up that guide and I dont have any of those things. And defiantly wasnt on the same pc back then
