And the skill Partners in Crime exists. That alone provides roughly 99% damage reduction for the Jokers of the person using said skill.

...so yeah, I think it made sense and still does to not let Jokers get healed by the Revival-Stimulant Dart.

but its not like its hard to get another joker, just smack them with the buzzer then make them surrender and boom joker acquired

plus maybe some people wanna have Swat Guy #2413 make it to the end of the heist, could be a fun little thing to keep a specific joker alive

Jokers - even with Joker Aced - just aren't great combatants especially on higher difficulties.

They'll spend more time getting shot at relentlessly rather than actually securing a kill, while PiC's buffs and damage reduction allow them to be of some use (indirectly), instead of becoming a live demonstration of "get uncuffed, try to fight back then get obliterated".

I'll admit that it is a little funny getting a regular blue SWAT officer (and specifically those) to fight back, so they can send a message to their commander(s) or lack thereof, but it can get a bit old. Just the case with novelties like these, sadly.

But with how underused the Dart Projector is right now, adding that on-top of the hidden "heal your enemies" gimmick is.. a bit tragic, really. I'm not sure if Crew Chief getting benefits from Jokers could save that either.

Aww I love having the jokers around. Though I wish they would put themselves out there more and fight instead of sticking to me

Although Jokers aren't good at getting kills they're great as a distraction for attracting cop aggro in conjunction with their additional buffs to the player.
