I've played the demo (haven't finished) and would like to know if the full game is closer to a survival horror or an action? Respawning enemies and ammo suggest the latter, while the combat being somewhat unwieldy supports the former, though having the melee attacks to consume the stamina but also unlimited dodge-rolling is unexpected.

Still, if it's an action and I'm supposed to clear the rooms, I'd like to know if it is possible to have more ammo.

no, you can t have more maximum ammo and is not like you need it, if you use your ammo smart you can clear rooms no problem, you just gotta be smart on how you approach the enemy.

is an action adventure game.

Thank you for the information. I can adjust my expectations and give another shot to the demo. I think there's a story-light option in it, showcasing only the combat.

it kinda blends some genres, don't wanna make any spoilers but there's one particular part that totally felt like playing the old Silent Hill games. So, it kinda feels like a survival horror but it has it respectable amount of action if you play your ammo wisely. it's worth to go for the full game tbh.
