I am so sick of sailing all the way to an island just for someone to dive in front of me. Makes the game suck
Next update should include control remoted islands, you bring them to you.

awesome, now tall tales should only take 45 minutes instead of 2 hours
Yeah, removing diving was a big mistake, wish they'd stop bringing in changes that ruin the game.

Complaining about people diving when trying to go for them is just plain silly Teddy, because, you're playing a game that has the shared enviroment of PvPvE, not solely PvP; in a shared world, both sides have the right to play their way. PvPers have the right to intiate attacks, but PvPers also have the right to flee or refuse to engage in them, if they want. There's no guarantee that people have the same preference as you in PvP, so it really should come as no surprise that PvErs use the diving to escape attacks they aren't interested in, which they have every right to do.
If you're so sick of people fleeing from you, why not just do hourglass?? You'll have a far better chance of finding likeminded people who are also looking to do PvP, than in open world, which contains players that aren't even there for the PvP.

How exactly did diving ruin the game? Servers are more populated now. The game thrives when there is organic player interaction. I also do play HG, and it's a silly argument to say "just play HG". Adventure and HG are both great, but fights and interactions on the open seas are a lot more dynamic than HG fights. Also who said I was going to sink a ship at an island when I get there? I could want to alliance, donate supplies before getting off, and many other things. Diving encouraged anti-social behavior in a game that is unique for it's emphasis on player interaction.
not sure this person has played the game for more than five minutes

You can still flee, but not by teleporting to another dimension as that is not a pirate thing to do.

This part made me laugh.

The last time I had someone crying in adventure because I sank him and stole his treasure, he said "go play hourglass if you wanna PvP". So I did. Guess what I found there? 4 PvE loss farmers in a row

SEA of thieves.
I think it is very obvious what the problem in the community is... people that dont understand the SEA part in sea of thieves and people that don't understand the thieves part in sea of thieves.. but that's just my opinion.

I never knew there was teleporting in this game. I don't much like to fast traveling in games so I probably would've used it if it did have it, even in the MMORGs I play. I don't even know what this diving is all about. This is all new to me for I go on breaks from the game a lot of the times.

Diving in this game was your ship going under the sea, go to a loading screen then you come out on another place right on front of the mission or world evenet you choosed to, most times it teleports you to another server and deleted the inactive world event and replaced it for the one you asked it.

My ship use to go under the water, but I didn't make it do so. It was bugging out I think. Thanks for the info. I thought everyone was talking about swimming under the water and that the devs removed swimming, I was thinking wth.
