| Changeling: The Lost (LARP) |
[12 Sep 2007|03:49pm] |
Time again for a new LARP spam!
Starting (officially) Friday the 21st is a new Changeling: The Lost LARP, run by Kyle Weems and gang at Bond Hall (WWU). Game will run from 5:00-10:00 roughly. Just look/listen for geeks :P
As some of you may or may not know, White Wolf games (our good friends responsible for Vampire and Werewolf) have rehashed Changeling and released it to the slavering public. This is not the same game of childhood and fanciful cardboard tube swords anymore, it is a game of beautiful madness. I assure you, if you hated the Dreaming, you'll enjoy the Lost. That isn't to say old fans of Changeling the Dreaming won't have a place here (most of us are fans!), but it is simply not the same game or theme anymore.
If you are interested but not sold on the concept, we'd love to change your mind/help you out. People are more than encouraged to attend this Friday for character help/preludes and general setting information. We'll have plenty of books and informed people, so show up and find out what the nWOD is all about!

| More werewolf? |
[03 Jun 2007|08:37am] |
With the success of the first werewolf game and its continuing chronicle, we've set up a full on message board for the game so that the player who might not otherwise be able to contact one another have the opportunity to do so.
I don't know how many of you check this out anymore, but here is the site to join if you are part of (or looking to join) the Friday Werewolf game.

Peace out!

Hey guys!
So, my apologies for the somewhat late announcement--but better late then never, right?
So, here's the deal. This Friday, at WWU (Bond Hall specifically) myself and velveteen, and steveness will be running the first game of a new Werewolf: the Apocalypse LARP.
The initial game will be running all weekend, Friday through Sunday. (no, not 24 hours a day :-p Game begins around fiveish in the evening and will run until ten or so.) We will be using the rules from Laws of the Wild: Revised Edition and the game will have a distinctly "traditional" feel to it.
If you're interested, email your concepts to imperialmoot@gmail.com, or just show up and we'll help you make a character.
Hope to see some of you there!
Cross posted to bham_gamers and wwu.

Soo, I need a headcount of people going to The Vampire game on Saturday. Being the Holiday weekend and all, I oughta make sure that people are going. If I don't get any message back, I'll assume that people aren't going to show up, and I'll leave this half of the state. Let me know if you plan on attending or not, and I can be at peace.

FYI: It seems that Bond hall at WWU is sewn up tight for renovation and asbestos removal. Is there an alternate location set up for game?

| Why I shouldn't wake up before 2pm ;) |
[08 Apr 2005|01:53pm] |
I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and posted something snarky.
quipper & addelle, I'm sorry I snapped about the community - I don't even really know why I cared, or even looked. I didn't plan on doing anything to or with the community - I guess my thought was "well, at least I'm still part of the club in that I'm in charge of the community." Ridiculous, really, but true. I miss all my friends and I miss game but I'm not really at that time of my life anymore. So don't worry about me, I'm fine. :)
So I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bitch, and I hope nobody's too very bothered.
Okay, everybody back in game. ;)

| Lame Stuff |
[07 Jan 2005|05:15pm] |
Sadly... I cannot come to game for the next month or more due to... all kinds of lame but cool crap. I say lame but cool... cause they aren't the best excuses but I'm doing it anyways cause Sat are popular nights for me. SO:
(IC)
Dear fellow clan mates-family really,
I am afriad the brid flew but the nest did not follow and the time has shown an orange hour upon my taking part as primogen... there will be a time that I will return and perhaps the position can be mine to sweetly caress once more... for I fear I was true to it. For now you will hopefully apoint a worthy follow up and they may skip merry about to the beat of the times... that rhymes in my mind how naturally everything can fall into place and for the finnish... adu adu... I love you... all.
XOXO JADE
Dearest Prince of the Haven that is Fair,
I have work to do with my Sire on the east coast... I will hopefully return to your well done rule. I'm sure my clan will appoint a fine example to court the guilded mirror along the crags and cracks, as well as, if not better than I.
Sincerely, Jade Ishii

I know this is pretty short notice, but I was wondering if it would be possible to get a ride to Saturday's game. It would be greatly appreciated, and there would be much love from the Maxness.

| House Rules |
[07 Oct 2004|06:56pm] |
I'm to understand that SPRAL has a few (?) house rules layered on top of or replacing rules in the Minds Eye Theater system.
Is there any central resource on these house rules? Some document on a webserver somewhere summarizing them?

Any openings for an occasional ghoul in the new Vampire game? I'm taking twenty credits, and wouldn't have time for much more then that, but I'd still love to do something :)
