Hey folks, Shawn here. I'll be playing Leon Kennedy! After a few days into the community, I've grown to appreciate what Kara and Rhéa are doing around here. This place has potential and both Kara and Rhéa are great role players! :) I hope one day I'll meet you all. For now, I'm showing the latest session between Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong. Session #009 The plot (thus far): This session takes place two days after Leon and Ada hit it off. Now, more questions arise and Leon wants to find some answers after Ada makes a surprising appearance in his room. The players: ada_wong, mr_leonAnything else?: After the fling, Leon begins to think it's going too fast and the feeling of love is too confusing. The fact that love is complete trust leads Leon into fear of it all. Trying to really tell her his feelings, he attempts to get to know Ada on more personal level as well. Here I am, getting off mah lazy bum finally! 1) Add the following journals to your RP journals if you haven't already: ada_wong, alfred_ashford, ashleygraham, billycoen, claire_redfield, jill_valentine_, mr_leon,  rebeccachambers, sherrybirkin, steve_burnside. Looking for, still: Albert Wesker, Ingrid Hunnigan, Chris Redfield, someone to take over Billy Coen, and applicants for various other video game canon characters that would make sense in this RP. 2) Leading off of something my wonderful co-mod said: For ease, would you like to have an RP community, and a separate OOC community? One to archive the sessions, and the other to freely discuss? Up to you, I don't care either way. 3) Lalalalalalalalaaaa.. Oh! Out of respect to my players, any moderator messages posted strictly to tell players they've been naughty, will now be FRIENDS ONLY. I will assume you visit this community on whatever journal you're signed in as, and I will not coddle you and tell you there's a friends only disciplinary post. It will be assumed you already saw it. 4) ACTIVITY ENCOURAGED. My AIM Screen Name has changed to Forgiving Moon. Please feel free to IM me whenever. I'll get to you ASAP. 5) The issue of non-game canon characters joining has come up. Much like the players who apply for Albert Wesker and the previously played Billy Coen, anyone who wishes to do this must adapt their characters to the video game world and then apply like everyone else. A huge issue that some players have stressed is they fear Mary Sueage. A small pet-peeve to get out of the way: When you IM me, I'm typically dealing with three or four other IM RPs. So don't tell me you can't RP because you have one session going on via IM. No one on this comm has...... really done that yet. Fortunately. But I figured I'd kick it in the ass before it did happen. You'll probably notice some differences.
I will be beginning recasting and casting for those of us carrying an insane amount of character weight shortly. Even promising at least one active night a week will keep you sufficiently active to keep your position. We're ALL busy. School, work... I work full time just like many people do, and I have a lot of obligations outside of this RP, both on and off this computer (one of which includes physical ailment). I can still manage at least three-four nights of dedication, so one night isn't too much to ask.
People applying with the recommendation of current players are more likely to be accepted than not. They still need to apply, of course, but if say ada_wong tells me they're good, I'm going to be more likely to merely skim the profile and accept. But please, make sure the people you recommend are willing to be fully active and committed. (I've learned people pulling school, work, and about five RPs on top of a ton of other things can remain decently active, so I'm showing little mercy now. This is not to offend anyone, but this is to be fair to those that actually put in time here.)
And again, once all canon character slots are billed by committed and fully active individuals, the option of original characters will open up, however be warned that it will be EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to pass by with an original character. If I see a Sue or Stu, I will not accept. If I see the character is a clone, I will not accept. But, that's for another time.

The plot [thus far]: Three hours or so after Billy shoved Jill into his trunk, he decides to let her out. (And yeah, there is a point. See the following.)
The players: jill_valentine_, claire_redfield (as billycoen)
Anything else?: This is more Jill and Billy getting used to one another. It's actually much larger than this, but I broke it in half as 1) it would be insanely long if I didn't, 2) I know ada_wong at least wants to cut to the chase and see the main antagonist of this story kick into gear. That's part two of this, so you'll hafta wait until I format it. Should be sometime tomorrow. Oh, and some facts may be a LITTLE off, but I tried to be as accurate as possible. Thanks to my East Coast friends.

But how to say it, I'm not sure.
I'm on my laptop right now, but have two Billy and Jill sessions to post here at some point tonight on my desktop.
I need some help as I will be posting in an RPG promo comm. (rpg_promo). Sooo... since I have a habit of forgetting my own information, I need people to double-check me.
Oh, and, like, I will be putting timeframes of how long someone can be idle in this RP if it gets too out of hand. I adore the playerset right now, but I'm getting a little frustrated because we need certain people to...... play. The story depends on certain characters right now, and if I can get certain plotpoints out NOW, I will throw your character onto the backburner if you need me to do so.
Anyway, am I missing something here?

And now that I've got your attention, in regards to madam_pegasus's recent questions: you are not a member of this roleplay. I've no idea why you think you are and it has to stop. If you would like to take this up with someone, take it up with me rather than claire_redfield. If you would like to join this storyline, you need to email an application for Alexia Ashford; you are not a unique and beautiful snowflake, you are like everyone else and thus you need to apply. Standards as well as storylines have changed and there are no posts to be made in this community over this issue or any other public displays of confusion. Application complaints are to be dealt with privately as they are private matters and with that said, you may reach claire_redfield and myself at the email of residentevil@mayaku.org.
If this problem persists and you fail to send in an application, I will have no qualms about banning you from this community. Rules are rules and believe it or not, they're not just put there to look at; they're put there to be actually followed.
