Hello everyone, I'm sorry for the long absence.

recsrainbow is now open for posting on Dreamwidth and with it a few updates:

1. An archive of recsrainbow from 2003 to 2017 is now hosted at rainbow_mod.

2. Posting to recsrainbow is open to anyone on Dreamwidth, but the posts will be moderated.

3. If you would rather not create a Dreamwidth account or post yourself for whatever reasons, then you have an option of contacting recsrainbow with your submission and the moderator will post your submission for you. Either email recsrainbow@gmail.com or send a private message through Dreamwidth to rainbow_mod.

4. Recommendation sites must meet one of the following criteria:
   • A dedicated website or blogging account for fanwork recs

   • A dedicated recommendation list for fanwork recs

   • If a mixed content website or blogging account, it must have:
     1. A dedicated tag for the fanwork recs (e.g. rec, recs);

     2. The dedicated tag is consistently used to tag content with fanwork recs;

     3. And at least ~10% of the site or account content is fanwork recs (e.g. ~1 in 10 original posts is a fanwork rec)
5. If you use a RSS/Atom service, you can follow recsrainbow at https://recsrainbow.dreamwidth.org/data/rss or https://recsrainbow.dreamwidth.org/data/atom.

Please see recsrainbow's Community Guidelines for the full details and let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Hi everyone, I'm sorry for being slow to respond, but as some of you are aware, LiveJournal has moved their servers to Russia, and they had updated their user agreement to comply with Russian government's regulations and laws:

• After Moving Servers to Russia, LiveJournal Bans ‘Political Solicitation’

• Russian-Owned LiveJournal Bans Political Talk, Adds Risk of Spying

What does this mean for recsrainbow?

recsrainbow is moving from LiveJournal to Dreamwidth. I had backed up recsrainbow on Dreamwidth before so: rainbow_mod will be our archive account, and recsrainbow will our community account. recsrainbow will be deleted on April 30, 2017.

Entries for rainbow_mod imported from recsrainbow are currently private, and newer entries not previously backed up are currently being imported. Once importing completes, I'll make the entries imported from recsrainbow public.

recsrainbow is now open for anyone to post, but entries will be moderated, and the community is rather bare-boned right now. It will take me awhile to set everything up, but you're welcome to post or email me rec updates for posting as always. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns! Thank you for your patience!

Intro: Fanfiction that I like enough to want to share with anyone and everyone from whatever fandom I happen to wander into. I'm fond of AUs and angst/drama, so those will appear a lot. In addition to that worldbuilding and characterization are my thing, so please forgive me for gushing over them done well a bit too many times in the Reccer's Notes.

I do my best to be through with tagging. Updated sporadically.
