The first theft had been annoying, knowing someone would break into the labs and take what wasn't theirs. The second caused some concern. But it wasn't until the third that he truly got worried. In the past week there had been five robberies at various places, robotics parts stolen each time. The blurry video file of a camera's last moments before a plasma blast reduced it to scrap put light on how serious the problem was.
The sound of the city below him meshed with his thoughts, noisy and difficult to sort out. His world was more likely then not in danger while he was stuck here. Blues had said he'd take care of things until Rock got back, but anything big actually starting up hadn't been taken into account.
