For the intelligent, enjoyable, destructive, random, informational, insane, and overall laudatory discussion of our favorite class of mind altering substances... the opiates.



Everyone is welcome here! Whether you're an expert or merely curious about opiates, feel free to ask questions, give tips, tell stories, post articles, share pictures, and whatever else of the kind your heart desires. While this community focuses primarily on opiates, feel free to inquire about mixing opiates and other drugs-- but please try to keep posts somehow opiate-related. Discussion of the opium poppy -papaver somniferum,- her uses and cultivation, is also welcome and strongly encouraged!


The Rules (frightening drumroll):

1. LiveJournal will shoot me if any users engage in selling or exchanging of illegal drugs or in giving out names and numbers of dealers through this community. Let's all make things easier on ourselves and not do this.

2. No user may instruct another as to how to ingest an illegal substance, including dosages and extraction methods. (I HATE and DETEST this rule with a passion-- but read on!)

3. Questions regarding ingestion, dosages, and extractions MAY be asked and LINKS MAY BE POSTED in response to these questions (Erowid instructions, etc). However, no user may give personal advice to another user regarding ingestion methods or dosages. (According to the LiveJournal Terms of Service, links are perfectly acceptable.)

4. Giving advice on evading drug tests or how to encourage doctors to prescribe opiate-containting medications is also forbidden. Remember to PLEASE do these things OFF LiveJournal.

5. To discuss the afore mentioned topics with other users, as I mention above, please do so through other means such as AIM, ICQ, MSN, Facebook, twitter, myspace, etc. I personally wish we could openly give advice to other users, but unfortunately LiveJournal forbids this and we must respect their rules.

6. NO harrassment or discrimination of any kind will be tolerated here! This means that all users deserve respect, regardless of their preferred opiate/opioid, ingestion method, age, gender, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or anything otherwise.

7. Promoting other communities is perfectly allowed here! However, please limit your promotions to once a week or less per member.

8. This community is meant to be open for everyone interested in the opium poppy or opiates/opioids- meaning that bashing, or insulting other members for any reason is completely and utterly unacceptable. This is NOT a rating community- and EVERYONE is welcome regardless of their level of experience! No one may make comments belittling a member for their "inferior" opioid choice, injestion method, or questions about our beloved Papaver somniferum. For example, saying, "Go use GOOGLE" is an unacceptable attitude here with us in the Affair, and if you feel snobbish and superior because of your drugs, then this is NOT the community for you.
