Did anyone one see the musical this past weekend?

if so what did you think?

If not, it's playing again this weekend, fri and sat at 7:30
and sun at 3:00.

Hope to see you there!

Well HO-LEE eff... I KNOW there are TONS more people at MCC who have livejournals... so you guys stop being bums and get the word out there! We don't want this community to die COMPLETELY, do we? Shhh, that's a rhetorical question... because of course we don't!

Ready for the winter term to start tomorrow? Because personally, I'm not all that excited for some more school......

Could someone tell me when book buy back is for the fall semester?

I moved to Kzoo and don't keep up with anything that is going on at the good old MCC anymore.

Hey, my name is Caleb and I'm a student at MCC. I am interested in starting a new club called Green Club. It will be an environmental organization of sorts. I have some killer ideas. However, in order to get official recognition by MCC, I need at least seven other students of MCC on board as well as a faculty advisor. The problem is, I don't know which faculty member to choose. Also, this isn't urgent, but if someone out there is interested and has good bookkeeping skills, that will be required since being recognized by MCC also makes us eligible for some kind of funding. Please get ahold of me either at MCC (I'm tall and funny looking and I wear really big ridiculous boots) or e-mail me kawfmanlives@hotmail.com

So far I have an idea for a contest. We get several volunteers and split them into teams. Whoever can pick up the most garbage inside Muskegon County in one day will recieve a prize. Plus we'll have volunteers go door to door accepting pledges of dollars per pound of garbage collected, and perhaps with that money we can be completely self-sufficient and not need funding from the college.

It will also include lots of harmless awareness-raising shenanigans.

I don't want anyone to join and then quit three days later, so think about it for a bit before you decide anything. I think we have to wait until fall next year to apply for "clubhood", but there's no reason not to be organized now.

Hey whats up everyone. I am ShiLyn, I started at MCC this past fall. Next semester I am going in to Math 40. Just curious if anyone is looking to get rid of their book, and how much they want for it?

Woooo... okay, well, MCC effing ROCKS, and this community has been dead for quite a while... I haven't done much with it since I became moderator, and I think it's about time I do that.

There has to be more livejournal users that happen to be MCC Students, any ideas of how to help this community grow? I need to start updating more often with events happening around the campus... and I was also thinking that maybe there could be more things that are OFF campus such as different things just going on around Muskegon or West MI for college students, or do you think it would be best to stick strictly to MCC only?

Please comment with any ideas to help out this community, and I'm working on a better, more... less boring look... so just let me know!

So anybody ready for the fall semester of this year '05? I am! I hope to meet new people. So lets get this community kicking again!! Ask anything about me ya wanna know let me know!

Have fun kids

I have registered for classes already, but I still haven't gotten any billing information in the mail yet, and I got it like 2 months prior to the start date for last semester... Should I be concerned?

So, I'm the new moderator, if any of you actually pay any attention to this community. I just thought Id say Hi....
Hi ^_^

But what I really wanted to do here, is to make sure we're all still alive and managing over the break. And also to let you all know about MCC move night which is held every Thursday. Free pizza and a movie. After the movie we have a discussion (which is always fun). Pizza comes around 5:30 PM, and we start the movie around 6. We usually make it a point to be out of there by 9... You can come in late, or leave early, but it's always nice to get some free pizza and maybe check out a movie you haven't seen if you're just out of class and bored. You can bring anyone youd like, and it's just kind of a hang out thing, somewhere to eat some pizza, watch a movie, and share your opinions. Everyone is welcome.

This Thursday (Jan 3rd) - The Big Lebowski

Hope to see you there

hey kids... i'm not going to be going to mcc anymore, so i'm looking to hand this community off to a new moderator. anyone want it? moderating a community is not hard... you don't really have to do anything.

however, if nobody wants to take it over, i'm just going to delete it. i just plain don't want it anymore. any takers?

ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE WHO ARE ALIVE.................
There will be a blood drive at the school Oct. 27. Everyone should donate. It's going to be in the lounge from 9:00am to 2:30pm. Show up, give a little blood, eat some food, save a life. This is peer pressure so do it.

hey hey... if any of you are writers or artists, you should leave me a comment to this post. i'm on staff for mcc's art & literary magazine, called river voices, and we need submissions for this semester's edition! so, if you have anything you would be willing to submit some or your writings or art/photography, that would be awesome. leave a comment for more information!
