As prevention of flame wars and spam, membership will be needed to post. This is to ensure we don't have open warfare. :-)

The basic rules:

1) No personal flaming or personal attacks. Every person deserves respect, including you so if you have a problem, please let us know.
2) No fundraising letters for any candidate or group other than directly for the Kerry/Edwards campaign. We will discuss issues, not to let money overwhelm the campaign.
3) If you paid by a campaign, please let us know. Volunteers are suggested but not mandatory.
4) Please use an LJ-cut where appropriate. When in doubt, please use it. This is done to help our bandwidth challenged friends. Please note, unreasonably long posts without a cut are subject to deletion.
5) No disabling comments just to have them be redirected to your personal journal, that's just lame.
Republicans are welcome to join as long as they debate with civility and defend their positions.
6) Please don't use this forum to attack other groups on the Internet. We're all working to get our Democratic candidates elected, right?

No Trolls! If you think you or a friend might be a Troll? Please check the definition of an Internet Troll, from the always wonderful Wikipedia.

And now you know, enjoy the discussion.
