SO, what's up everyone? I thought I would try and Update this. I was wondering if trying to be a "hero" to someone can hurt you? It seems as though it has happened to me. I thought that speaking up and stating that I thought something was wrong would show someone that I was trying to be helpful....but it backfired. so it seems that the friendship with this person is hitting a horrible position...and I don't know where it is going. It's weird...because I also don't feel a single thing I did was wrong. Just give me your hints and helpful thoughts. Current Mood:  confused |

Wow
Well it seems like we have activity once again. I glad people are posting here. I think random posts are what we need until we can find direction as a group, though I really feel that a general kindness and goodness will help the world more than specific goals. My latest act as a hero was to spend a lot of time volunteering at kumoricon, and agreeing to be staff next year. (Might have been a bad Idea I already have a lot on my plate for next year, but a busy Hero is a happy hero, so it's all good.) Just keep talking people. I am becoming a hero
I have been in this community since it's creation. I have become my own hero in sorts, completed personal goals that will aid in my struggle. But I try to become a silent Hero. I try to help everyone I know. I try to be that shoulder to cry on and that someone that people can look to for support. That is what a Hero is to me. You don't have to posses a cape, tights, or some cheesey name. You just have to be that special someone to people. I have found multiple Hero's in my life. They don't wear the same mask's that we see in the comic, or the movies: They wear a mask of love and courage to everyone they know. They willingly put other's infront of their needs. They will champion in life because they know it's true value. I thank them more than anyone can realize. They have helped me achieve my interpetation(SP) of a Hero. Lets get this community going again. Post something in here that you did to help someone. Something that helped you become that silent, or wellknown Hero to someone you know. ~FatMan |

The Resurection Continues
the reserrection continued Hi Everybody How are things going. Currently I haven't gotten much in the way of the feedback I asked for in my last post. So if you would please get back to me on that that would be wonderful. Also as to the camping trip Shadowfox is talking about I endorse it fully, but we have a lot of organizing work to do. What we need is to designate certain people with certain responsibilities. We need a pr rep to handle the website and write the newsletter. We need a treasurer to handle whatever funds we might come across. I personally am trying to deal with all these responsibilities myself, but am feeling kinda overwhelmed. so please help me if you can. especially with the website. CAMPING TRIP???

Well, amazingly enough, It looks like I landed a job. I was surprised how fast it came up. I'll be welding in a shop here in town for a while week or so to get my welding up to snuff, then going up to everson to weld on a 400 yard inlet feed for the saw mill up there. Its gonna be a grunt, but its a paying job, no matter how you cut it. Ug, this has been a crazy week. Not to mention, next weekend I fly back to north dakota to take my grandmothers ashes back there. This is gonna be one crazy summer. hope i can pull of a camping trip or 2. (And Yes Chad, I'm still gonna drag you on a camping trip this summer, even if i have do it behind my car!) |

News update
Hey remember forever ago when that one guy who claimed to be a villain and our enemy. He also left that really bizarre thing in my pocket at anime. Well I have identified the culprit. He is none other than our very own mischievous weirdo who goes by the name Xaositecte on LJ. Remember every one That at the time I thought it was him, but no one believed me.
