And now for your edification and entertainment, I present to you a complete guide to all the characters in the Descant trilogy... Because I needed a list... And stuff.

Most have PB icons. The ones who don’t are either too minor for one or I never figured out who their PB is. Mostly the former though.

And so here we go: The characters, divided into Humans, Angels, Demons, Grigori, and Lesser Between Creatures, and Between Leaders.

Sin City is a bit more sinful than most humans know, just ask Paranormal Investigator Desmond Descant- he knows well enough that beyond the glitz and vice, there's a hotspot of dark activity. This beat has been his for over fifty years and he's never a looked a day over twenty-two for the last 4,000 (all thanks to a curse placed on him millennia before). 

Descant's gotten used to living without dying and he gets by with a little help from his supernatural friends, specifically Pagiel and Mathias, an angel and demon, respectively, sent to tempt him towards either Heaven or Hell, because his soul is the current Hot Item on God and the Devil's bid list, because he can die, he just hasn't figured out how. No big deal though. 

No, Descant's got bigger fish to fry, especially when Grigori start turning up dead in his city, leading him to discover a literal Holy War in danger of breaking out on his turf. Not making matters any easier on him is the fact that Mathias and Pagiel, who have been nothing but hostile to one another for 4,000 years, might just be falling love, and in order to save both them and the world, Descant must stay one step ahead of seven vengeful Archangels and their equally angry rivals- The Dukes of Hell.

Whatever happens in Vegas definitely isn't staying in Vegas.
