According to Winona Ryder, she and Heathers scripter Daniel Waters - both at work on the dark comedy Sex and Death 101 - are drumming up a sequel to the 1989 cult classic. "I've been [arguing], 'There's Heathers in the real world!'" she says. "We have to keep going!"

Sorry if this seems spammy, but I know there are a lot of Winona fans here... :-)
I just noticed some authentic wardrobe items from the film "The Heart Is Deceitful" (based on the novel by J.T. LeRoy) just up on eBay. There are some pretty cool pieces, including costumes worn by Asia Argento (one of the stars, and director), Winona Ryder, and John Robinson.

I adore this movie with all the passion in my heart. haha.
I've saw it when i was a child and recently bought it when i was it on sale, i;ve watched it 5 times in the last week. I think its utterly amazing. Im completely infatuated by Veronica Sawyer, I've always loved Winona Ryder but in this role she takes it to a new level. So yeah, add me if you want to, i have alot of spear time at work and livejournal is pretty much the only website it'll let me go on, so i am VERY interested in anything you have to say.

ive loved this movie since i was what..4,jd was the first crush i ever had (GOD thinking about that know it doesnt sound stable)

I'm Amber, and I'm new to the community. I ADORE the movie Heathers and have for years. Winona Ryder is my favorite actress, and Christian Slater is so sexy in that movie. Its such a great teen movie, and its a great dark comedy!

Is it just me or does anyone else replace the following "And folks dressed up like eskimos" with JD's Es-ki-mo
i do it everytime and it just cracks me up cause then i replay the whole scene. Eskimo! It's one word! ... I love it! I usually go for the whole sentence myself, but this is perfecto! Eskimo, you know... It's so mysterious. Es-ki-mo.

I finally bought a copy of the DVD and watched Heathers with the commentary. I also just stumbled upon this great community :)
At the beginning of the scene in which JD attempts to convince Veronica to underline "meaningful passages" in Heather Duke's tattered copy of Moby Dick, the trio commenting said something along the lines of "Is this the beginning of the dream sequence? No...," but it's obvious by the time the camera pans across the church aisle to reveal Heather Duke's outlandish funeral and Westerberg High students clad in 3D glasses and white graduation (?) gowns that it's a dream sequence, even before Heather Chandler shows up. I was wondering where reality ends and the dream sequence begins; does JD ever really try to make Veronica underline the passages in Moby Dick, and does he ever attempt to murder Heather Duke? I knew, by movie's end, that Heather Duke seemed alive because she was present at the pep rally and in the scene in which Veronica snatched Heather Chandler's red scrunchie from H. Duke's ponytail.
Please clarify, thank you :)
