DUMBLEDORE SLAUGHTERED
HEADMASTER OF HOGWARTS DONE IN BY TRUSTED TEACHER
Late last night, Aurors were called to the scene of a murderous crime situated at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Professor Dumbledore, late Headmaster of the school, was found at the bottom of Gryffindor Tower, having been brutally murdered and thrown off the top of the tower. Eyewitness Minerva McGonagall, teacher of Transfiguration, and Head of Gryffindor House and now Headmistress of Hogwarts according to Dumbledore's will and testament, saw what she claimed to be as Severus Snape, now ex Potions teacher kill and dispose of his superior. After doing so, Severus Snape vanished by the use of a broomstick, Professor McGonagall being too much in shock, and too far away to prevent his escape. Authorities are still searching for him, and advise the public to stay well away, and alert them immediately if they know of his whereabouts or see him. Snape was once reputed to be in league with You-Know-Who, and appears to have returned to his old ways, killing his saviour, who stopped him going to Azkaban prison seventeen years ago. |

Sybill sat at her crystall ball, gazing into the glass, trying to make some sense of what she saw. But ever since the headmaster's death, it all remained hazy. She sighed, for the millionth time, feeling rudderless, and lost. Not knowing what she should do, or where she should turn. Wondering where Snape was - it had been forever since she had last seen the potions master.
A sound behind her, caused her to turn her head, startled. |

Oliver stepped out of the showers grinning, towel wrapped round his waist. Puddlemere United had just won another match; and this time he'd been substituted for their normal Keeper, due to injury. So far, it was looking very good for his career. His coach had congratulated him on stepping off of the pitch. And the best thing? Lisa had been watching him and he hadn't made a fool of himself. He shook his wet hair, not bothering with a Drying Charm, and put on a black t-shirt and jeans, stuffing his Quidditch robes in his locker, heading for the changing room doors.
As soon as he stepped out, the usual small group of girls, who seemed to enjoy following him around whereever he went, swooped down on him. He spotted Lisa in the background, and his grin widened, pushing his way through his fans to her. |

Hunting took a lot out of a girl. The men in the family were out with their crossbows, hunting whatever creatures lurked in the forest surrounding Millicent's home. As she was a girl, Millicent was left at home with the women. Not wanting to talk about fashion, or who had secured themselves a husband, Millicent took to hunting her smaller cousins.
It was hard work, scaring and sometimes locking up the small children. Which was why Millicent had skipped dinner and gone straight to bed. She fell asleep moments after her head hit the pillow. |

Remus had spent most of his time back at the castle in the library; he wasn’t a professor so he did have a lot of spare time. Now that it was summer and the students were at home he had even more spare time and by now he had probably read every book about other dimensions, death, veils, the Ministry of Magic and more, but he still wasn’t closer to any answers.
Today however he was not in the library, he was by the lake, sitting under his favourite tree thinking about… yes… Sirius! |

Ron sat in the common room, fidgeting. Most of the students had gone home, but he had refused until Hermione had come out of the school Hospital Wing after being checked over. He had yet to see her, but was staying on the sofa until he did. He sighed, and put his legs over the arm of the sofa, laying down, and staring at the ceiling. Before long, the lack of sleep from worrying night after night for over a week, had caused him to drop into sleep. |

Eloise entered the room where the hostages were, and motioned to the Death Eaters guarding them. One walked over and undid Pansy's wrists from the ropes binding them. No-one thought anything odd of it; Eloise had been taking out girls privately to get information, so it seemed routine.
"You, up," she snapped, before leaving the room and expecting Pansy to follow her to a more private room. |

GIRL DIES IN DEATH
EATER ATTACK
Ball gate crashed at Hogwarts School
Over a week ago, teachers and students alike were dismayed when their peers and friends were snatched away by Death Eaters, led by a woman claiming to be Eloise Zakzrewski, one of You-Know-Whos closest followers. After extensive searches, Aurors discovered the whereabouts of the Death Eaters in the early hours of this morning.
However, not all news on this situation has turned out good. An eyewitness, one Cecily Cardew, told us that Miss Luna Lovegood, a much loved and admired friend at Hogwarts, bolted for it during the Death Eater escape, and was shot down with the Killing Curse before she could run for help. Her body was then taken by the men to an unknown spot. Aurors are still searching for any clues to the whereabouts of her body.
The remaining students were all unharmed, and merely shocked by the experiences. This incident once again brings into question the safety of Hogwarts in its current state, and perhaps this should be revisited carefully by the Ministry. |

Lisa twirled her hair with her fingers and stared at the ground between her feet. Small weeds were growing between the stones in the courtyard and the air was hot and balmy. Lisa thought that she could feel a storm brewing and wouldn't have been suprised if it started to rain. It was so hot she was wearing a black strappy top.
She didn't care. She was actually worried and slightly sick with guilt. She was worried about Luna and guilty for thinking about the mystery boy when she should be worrying and when she was meant to like Oliver. |
