So, no picture this time, but if you finish reading this you will understand why and probably thank me.
Last Saturday I went to the local grocery store. It's in a major shopping center with a Home Depot on one side and several other smaller stores on the other.
I was moving pretty slow and was in no hurry so I sat in the care and called mother to chat with her a while.
While talking to mother this large brown truck pulls up in front of me. It was one of those four door trucks with metal boxes of work items in the bed.
The truck parks and out of the truck comes a man. He's wearing brown work overalls, which he decides he no longer needs to be wearing. So, while I was talking to mother he proceeds to change his clothes in back of the open drivers side door, but since he is parked in front of me, I get the play by play. Nothing scary, mind you - he's just taking shoes off so he could get his overalls off. Underneath he was wearing a less dirty pair of jeans and a white tee-shirt.
I continue talking to mother, thinking nothing much about the man changing clothes in front of me when something strange happens....
He is still behind the drivers side door when he makes a motion that looks suspiciously like unzipping. You can only imagine the look on my face. Why am I watching this??? Remember this crazy man is RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!! So, he "unzips" and I can feel this look of shock come on my face - color goes away, jaw drops, eyes open wide, you know, typical deer in the headlights....
The crazy man who has just unzipped seemed to suddenly remember where he was. He turns around and sees me in the car on the phone. So, he opens the drivers side back door to his truck, making a make - shift stall. Then he turns back around facing the drivers side door and proceeds to relieve himself.
Yes, that's right. RELIEVED HIMSELF! In a parking lot! Did I mention it was the middle of the day? Did I mention it was Saturday? Did I mention how busy the parking lot was?
I didn't know what to do! Something my good friend Courtney once told me came to mind ("Look away, look away...!") so I became suddenly fascinated with the brown paper bag that was left on the seat. I have never been so grateful for wrappers left in the car...
When I finally looked up after what seemed forever, he had closed his doors and was heading into the store, which I am sure would have had indoor plumbing....
