Christmas

...Santa came to our house and ate our cookies we left out for him ...If you asked Caleb what he wanted for Christmas he would reply, "DS", What 2 year old asks for a DS? He got a leapster (which he calls a DS) he just likes to color on them. ..He also got Buzz and Woody. He loves them. When he saw what it was he would say, "Oh no, Oh no". He was lots of fun this year. We had a great Christmas with family. Caleb was a blast. He was so cute and would always sing, "Santa Claus is coming to town". Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas and remembered the true meaning. Love you all.

Thanksgiving 09

..............Caleb and grandpa Mike looking at Christmas lights. ...........We went to a place in Vegas where they decorated cactus' ............Cayden and Caleb playing at Bass pro shop .....Caleb looking at the fish tank, we moved away because it was during the mermaid show and he didn't like it. The girls getting out of the car on Black Friday. This was our 3rd time getting out. It was about 2:30 am We had a fun time in Vegas with family. It went by so fast. We will see them all again though within the next 2 weeks. Exciting!!

..the stockings were hung....

..........I came down stairs to check on Caleb and this is what I found. ............ Blue= Boys stockings and White= Girl stocking ..Yes! I just finished making the stockings!! I am so glad I did it. I have been wanting to make them forever and this year I just did it. It feels so good. One of the best things I can remember growing up around Christmas time were the homemade stockings that my mom made for all of us. It made me feel special. Now I hope my family can feel special every time they look at the stocking I made for them. They aren't fancy or anything, but it will work.

Sweet boy of mine..

Showing me what he is reading, this makes me think of what he will look like on his mission. AAHHH only 17 more years! ..The other day I was checking my email and Caleb had came into the room. He sat on his couch and was being so good. I looked at him and he was reading, (well looking at it and turning pages), The Book of Mormon. I was so proud and he is a great example to me already. He loves to say prayers and read his scriptures with Marcus and I. This picture makes me smile because he wanted to watch Toy story and I was doing something and he couldn't wait. So he got on his bucket and got it himself. Smart boy.

Halloween

....................Caleb had a pumpkin bucket to use but we went to the store and he saw the Toy Story one, and he just had to have it (or so he thought). Caleb was a vampire for Halloween. I was surprised that he let me put a little make up on him. It was a busy night and Caleb was a little grumpy. We ended up with a lot of candy. Every door we went to let him pick out which candy he wanted, of course he would choose Reese's, then they would be like here take more, and another, I think each house gave him 5 or more pieces! Then we went saw our newest nephew. He is so cute. Marcie had dinner ready for all of us which was really nice. It ended up being a good night.

I thought it was so funny because it is almost the same thing. I guess that is his pumpkin carving pose. We will have to see if he does it again next year. For family night we did our traditional pumpkin carving. I love carving. Caleb wouldn't put his hand in the pumpkin goo. I gave him a seed and he looked at it then handed it back to me and said, "gross". It was so funny. We had a pumpkin shaped pizza to top off the night.

Last night we went to that same pumpkin patch that we went to last year because we loved it so much. We had so much fun again. This patch is so cool. We got there kinda late and it was getting dark but we managed to find the perfect ones.

Okay, I know my last post was at the corn maze as well, but this time it was during the day and actually warm. So I got better pictures and Caleb was happier. I was so glad I checked the times for the maze because it usually doesn't open till 4 but since its fall break it was open early, so Caleb and I went and hung out there for 2 1/2 hours. We had a blast.
