Vacation...All I Ever Wanted

Since I lasted posted, I turned 4, started sleeping in my own bed the whole night, tried to swim, tried to ride a bike, learned how to write my whole name, grew a couple of inches, and traveled to over 10 different states this summer. Here are a few pictures of all the adventures...hope the rest of the year brings more adventures for my family and yours!

Well, Long Time No See

Yes. It's been too long since I've seen you. Not you, reader. I mean California. Mom and Dad finally took me back to the place where this blog started. And, since Mom's not on the computer much anymore (and she was doing a lousy job of updating) I thought it fitting that the most technically inclined member of the family carry on the tradition by updating you on our latest adventure. Enjoy...and ignore the typos (I'm only 3).

Welcome to The Hotel California

Our stay in California was made even better because we got to stay with our good friends, The Ross Family. Please note: the boy in the stroller is not actually a Ross, but he and his parents also made our trip that much better. The more the merrier!

Look...We Saw Stars in LA!

I got to hang out with my great friends Paul and Michele on this trip. Not only are they stars (their show can be seen at www.chapincircle.tv and you should watch it immediately upon closing this blog), but they are super entertainers too...Paul can even juggle!

Praise the Lord

The Ross family was nice enough to invite us to go to church with them. I'd go to church more often back home if it had these whirly things to entertain me.

Zooper Fun In Santa Barbara

After church, we ventured to the Santa Barbara Zoo. You can't beat an ocean view, a train, and lions all in one place.

All animals get tired of being fenced in.

We had a great day at the zoo. I think the animals enjoyed seeing us too.

Universally Appealing

HOORAY! After months of pleading with Mom and Dad to go back to Universal Studios, we finally made it. Dad and I used to go at least once a month, so it was good to go back and visit a few of my friends after over a year (see below).

Dora and Diego are much quieter in person (thank goodness).

I didn't even know who these birds were, but when in Rome...

I was only up to the bottom bun last time I posed next to this hamburger.

Despite being unable to swim (yet), I loved the Waterworld show.

Forget you ever saw this...it might have to be our next Christmas card photo if we don't get all three of us in front of the camera again this year.

Phew. Time to wash off all those airplane grubbies and get ready for the next trip. See you soon...whether near or far!
