These Times They Are A Changin'

Happy 2009 Morse Code readers! This year is sure to bring many changes for everyone. And, as we're sure you have noticed, one of those changes is that we do not blog as often as we used to since we are not on the computer as often. Our time is spent doing other things...not necessarily more or less important things...just other things. Accordingly, for the naturally curious, we've included pictures of a few of those other things below. Here's hoping you're having a good time whatever you're doing!

Flirting With Time

Since we're sure you're wondering what we Morses do while we're not walking to the grocery store or building snow people, we thought we'd show you how we pass the rest of our time at home. We don't do much work, and we don't make much money (except while gambling with grandparents), but we sure do have a lot of fun.

It Never Snows In Knoxville

Yes, we told everyone before we moved here that it rarely snows in Knoxville and, if it does, it is usually just a tiny bit. After 60 degree weather on Sunday, Mother Nature laughed in our faces and snowed on our heads on Monday. We made the best of it and made our very first snowMorse. Sam was delighted that he could build a figure bigger than himself. He was also delighted that our snowMorse had to wear the goofy red hat that Mom knitted a couple of years ago. We know our snowMorse doesn't have much of a face (no coal or carrots to be found) but, like we said, we got caught completely off guard and had to make do with acorns and sticks. We promise to do better next time (but secretly hope that there is no next time).

In the Mix

After spending far too much time in the car in 2008, we now find ourselves walking to the grocery store (yes, even when it's cold) and avoiding our automobile at all costs...but for bi-weekly trips to Chick-Fil-A for a gallon of sweet tea. Sam misses the Chex-Mix, but appreciates the tea.
