Happy Valentine's Day! Our day started with pink pancakes and fresh from the farm roses. Hannah had a Valentine exchange at school. It was interesting because most of Hannah's classmates' parents are not from the US originally and don't celebrate or really know about Valentine's Day. Her teacher had to send home a letter with detailed instructions about how the class would be celebrating. After school we met up with friends at the park for a picnic and let the kids exchange more Valetines there. After dinner we had our traditional chocolate fondue, which is super messy but always a hit with the kids. I love that for us the holiday has turned into more of a fun day for the kids than a romantic holiday.
