Oh, Seattle.
How we miss you so!
The kids talk about you all the time.
They remember things we did there.
They remember things we ate there.
They remember we saw there.
They still remember.
So, in order for them to relive some of those memories, we took them back.
We toured around like real tourists, in a city we used to live in.
We ate at our favorite restaurants.
We shopped until we dropped.
We played and conversed with old friends.
We reminisced about old friends who have passed.
And, we couldn't leave town without driving by our old house.
Ahhh...the memories, they are sweet.

...we are heading for Seattle!!!
And then there is the beautiful Mnt. Rainier!!
First order of business. No other park but, the duck park!

Actually dinner was lovely, I just happened to capture some funny faces!
We viewed this ship will dining, and so we had to get a closer look when we were finished.
This amazing couple hosted us for a few days. They were the best days of our trip. The kids still talk about them and their beautiful home!
Somehow, we got them to sit still for a few minutes. Its not the best, but they are all sitting and looking up! :)
And well, we tried to get a good family photo. But I'm just not sure the stuffed animals, keys, and zoo toys really fit into the picture!
Stuffing banana bread into her mouth. She couldn't get enough of it!
Hmmm... I found this leaf on the floor, is it good for eating? I'll give it a try and then let you know.
The Woodland Park Zoo!
This was the highlight of their trip. We saw a lot of animals and did a lot of walking. But they were little troopers and enjoyed every bit of the day!

I truly cannot wait to go back here. I had the best coffee I have ever had here!

We spent a few more days at another friends place. These two, only two months apart, thoroughly enjoyed each others company!
Good bye Seattle. We loved every minute of our stay with you. Thanks for sparking old memories, and for making new ones. We look forward to the day we can return.
