First Day of Preschool 2012

Kamea started at a preschool on Tuesday, she will be attending two days a week. When I woke her up on Tuesday she told me a few things; I need to go potty before I go to school because my teacher doesn't want me to have an accident, I am going to listen to my teacher and I am going to learn the days of the week! She was so eager for school and having a new backpack and lunch bag made it all very exciting. I walked her into her classroom, she only had a moment of hesitation and then all was good. When I picked her up she excitedly ran up to me and said, I love school! We spent the ride home talking all about her new friends and what she did that day. It sure makes everything easier all around when she is so happy to go!

**It wasn't until I was getting Kamea dressed on Tuesday that I realized I need to go school clothes shopping for her, the school has requirements for the children in order for them to be allowed on the playground so it makes wearing skirts difficult, hoping to find some leggings and other items so she can wear them.

When I was preparing for Julie and Shauna's baby shower Pam offered to have Kamea for the night. It was a great help to me and Kamea had a blast. Thanks Grandma!

Ramey and DD invited us up to the Lake for the weekend. We brought Korbin along. We had a great time relaxing, swimming, and fishing.

Twin Update

Trip to Oregon

When we flew home for me to run in the relay, I captured these cute pictures of the kids on the plane. Kamea was very intrigued with the emergency procedures for the airplane and spent quite a bit of time studying the pamphlet.

Mini Murphy

Everytime I take a trip to Twin Falls, which is often, we try to get Papa Murphy's pizza. This time I saw they have kids pizza's, Kamea enjoyed making her own pizza.

Fun weekend with Cousins

Rory and Cassie and their kids came to visit for the weekend. We had lots of fun hanging out, watching the kids play and going for a boat ride. Its so special to be able to spend weekends with cousins. Looking forward to the next time.

Cascade Lakes Relay 2012

 This is my second year running the Cascade Lakes Relay. Its 216 miles through Central Oregon mountains. Its a beautiful run. We run as a team of 12 and each run 3 legs. Always enjoyable and a fun team event. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Row Row Row Your Boat

This summer we have enjoyed having a boat. For some reason I haven't taken a picture of the boat yet, I will save that for another post. From this post you will see how much we enjoy evenings on the River. Its a great way to cool off after a hard day of work and so enjoyable to share it with family and friends. The kids are also getting a chance to grow up with a boat and learn the ropes. You also get to take part in the awesome sunsets every evening, nothing beats Idaho sunsets.

Kamea absolutely loves water. She will play for hours in the kitchen sink washing dishes if you let her and don't mind the puddle around her stool. I purchased a water table so that she could enjoy pouring water back and forth. This time Kenzi got in on the fun. It ended with a soaked little girl and a warm bath.
