My bookclub is a Mother-Daughter bookclub so it's obvious that I do it with my mom. We kick my dad and brother(s) out tof the house. It's pretty fun doing that.... well, not litterally. Our first book was called "PIE" by Sarah Weeks. It was good. Pretty much my favorite book, but I might read other good books in life.
It's about a girl whose aunt owned a pie shop and baked the most delicious pies. And won awards for them. But she died and everybody tries to bake the best pies to get the award now. But no one has her recipe. Everybody thinks that she gave the recipe to her cat (that's what her will "said".). And then the cat gets CATnapped and Alice tries to figure out who has her aunt's cat. So it's a mystery. But it's also funny and sweet.
The next book we're reading is "Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great". It sounds good and people say it's funny. So we dicided it. We actually voted and it got the most votes but, we still dicided it.
When we had the meeting to talk about PIE we ate pie. YUM!
I don't know what were gonna do when we have the meeting for "Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great" though. Oh, ummmm... in case you wanted to read "Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great" the author is Judy Blume. The author of PIE is Sarah Weeks. I better go now.... Thankyouverymuch.
