Tired

 I am tired of Gavin always being sick. He can't just have a cold it has to turned into pneumonia.  I am also tired of cranky and unhappy kids, wiping snotty noses, cleaning up vomit, being vomited on, dealing out medicine, not getting any sleep. the list could go on. I just want to hibernate until spring and we just might. I took Camden to the doctors today, she has an ear infection and RSV. My poor little girl.  She has gained almost 2 pounds in 3 weeks.

Worst Night Ever

Ryan has been at the hospital working all day and night.  The boys have been fighting all day long and into the evening.  I went into their room to break up a fight and of course tripped over Brent's bike and broke my toe. I was tired of it so I decided to give them a bath and put them to bed.  While I was getting Cam ready for bed the boys or should I say Gavin decided to take the empty trash can in the bathroom and start dumping bath water on to the floor. I go in to find the bathroom completely flooded and on the verge off spilling over into the hall way.  I used every towel we had to soak up the water and then had to wash all of them. Once I got the boys down for bed, Camden decided to throw up all over me and the carpet. Meaning more cleaning for me and Camden taking another bath. I am hoping tomorrow is a better day.

Veteran's Day

 Brent had the day off from school and I decided to take him to see the Endeavor Space shuttle at the California Science Center.  We invited the Johnson's to come along on our adventure. We rode on the Metro train, the kids had a blast.

Camden is taking after Brent in his weird skin reactions.  After dropping Brent off at school  I noticed Camden's eye was all red and puffy.  I have no idea what it was. It only last for a little while.

It's Gone!

Gavin is very sad that our playground is gone.  UCLA has been talking for years about putting in new play equipment and finally today they started demolition.  Gavin has been watching the guys take down "his playground".  I hope I don't have to look at this fencing for too long.

Halloween Night

I am glad that Halloween will be over tomorrow.  The boys had a great time Trick or Treating with their friends through our complex.  It seemed like there wasn't as many people handing out candy this year.  While the boys finished up I came home to feed Camden.  I still had to answer our door so I sat near the door to pass out candy and feed Camden at the same time.  These 2 little girls had a lot of questions for me when I answered the door.  One asked: What's that baby doing under there (nursing cover)? Me: She is eating. The other one asked: "Eating What?".  Me: Milk. Thank goodness their parents pulled them away before it got anymore awkward.  I am also glad that the boys didn't get as much candy as they did last year because we had a lot left over from passing it out.

Trunk or Treat

 I will be glad when Halloween is over. I feel like there are so many activities around this holiday; like yesterday the school Halloween party, today Brent had another Halloween party and now the Trunk or Treat.  The boys had fun playing games and eating candy with their friends.  They both won the costume contest and carved pumpkin contest.  Camden got a lot of comments on her costume, she was a cute dalmatian dog.

Halloween Hurrah

  Tonight was Brent's schools Halloween Party.  We met Ryan there and ate dinner.  The boys went around playing the different carnival games.  Brent's favorite was the haunted house.  Gavin's was throwing ping pong balls into bottles which he got one in which meant that we won a gold fish. Yeah!  the boys loved dancing around with their friends. I can only find these 2 pictures from tonight and they were taken before we left.

2 Months Old

Camden is 2 months old.  She is the best baby!  She sleeps between 6 to 8 hours at night which is a dream. How did I get so lucky? She is big for her age, 90-95% for height, weight, and head.  At least she is proportionate. Camden goes with the flow of life, well she has to with having 2 older brothers.  She loves it when you talk to her and loves to coo back at you.  She is smiling more and more.  We love her to pieces.

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch

After calculating the cost of going to Underwood Farms this year we found a cheaper option.  We went to Mr. Bones Pumpkin patch in Beverly Hills.  They had a lot of fun things for the kids to do and plenty of pumpkins to chose from. We just might have to make this our new annual pumpkin patch.

Camden's Blessing

Today Camden was blessed. Her blessing dress is 5 years old. I bought it before we knew Brent was a boy. It was on sale at the Gap and I could not resist.  I still love it and was glad I could finally use it.  My mom came for the blessing and to stay for a few extra days, which was a big help.  We enjoyed Mexican food for dinner and a yummy chocolate cake.
