Valentine Day! Or Days....

Jim and I had our valentines date earlier this week. It was so much fun! We went to a steak house and watched some dinner theater. It was bonnie and clyde,and  It was interactive. They sang to us and did cute games. We were at a booth and thought we had to share with another couple but then never showed up so we got to snuggle up and stretch out  and watch the show. I got us season tickets to this theater company(salty theater company). So we both look forward to going to another show this spring. We've been in such a rut with our dates ,we do the same thing all the time,dinner and a movie. So it was nice to do something different and get out of our comfort zone, and have the actors talking with us and singing romantic songs while we ate.
It seems like for some reason Jim always needs to make a face in pictures.

Fancy Nancy party!

So our local library had a fancy Nancy party. So of course I signed Paytyn up to go. She seemes to like it. When we got there she got a crown and a ring. Then she got seated at her table. She leaned some fancy words, they read a fancy Nancy book. Then had refreshments . They got served on a glass platter and a glass cups. She ate a cupcake and m&m's. I think that was her favorite part. Jim had to work in the morning while we were at the party. When we got home we went with Jim to return some stuff. Then we were able to go to boondocks to play games and eat dinner. That was our fun family saturday. Of course today is the super bowl and as always Jim and I don't agree on a team. But we are going to try and make some new dips and enjoy the time together.

Sleepovers and sick husband's

So tonight Paytyn is sleeping over her friend's house (chloe). It's the first time she's sleepingover at a friends house. It was a last minute decision so Jim didn't know about it until I came home. Of course we have a free Friday night to do whatever we want and sleep in on a Saturday. But Jim is sick! So here I am on a Friday in bed watching tv and blogging. This is a big step for Paytyn to have a a sleeper at a friends house. She isn't a baby anymore, she is be coming a big kid. She tells me all the time. 'mom I'm a big girl and I can do it (whatever it is she wants to do) on my own.'But when she's tired she will tell me I need to carry her 'cause big girls get tires and need to be carried'. Well that my entry for the day.

Day in the life.

I'm trying to keep up on on blogging. So here goes. We got a new to us keyboard for Paytyn to practice her piano on. She seems to like playing on it. And when I say playing on it, I really mean playing. But on a good note, I've learned how to play old mcdonald. I've wanted to learn how to the piano so with Paytyn taking lesson I've been able to learn with her when she practices. Also with Jim and I considering bringing guns into our house we've been talking to Paytyn about guns we've showed her the kid nra video. So I thought maybe we would get a toy gun and paint it black to see what she does. Well I've let her play with the other stuff that came with the toy gun. So here are a couple of pictures.

Circus night!

On our way to see the circus. Paytyn is very excited. Jim got stuck working so we were able to pick up Rachel to come with us to use the extra ticket. This  is the first time pay has gone to the circus. She and I are very excited. Im making it a special night. We are eating dinner out and I'm sure she and Rachel will get plenty of treats at the circus.
So when we got to the circus you could take a ride on different animals or get your face painted. Well you could ride a elephant. Paytyn and Rachel wanted to ride a pony. But come on how many time in your life do you get to ride an elephant?! So I made them both ride the elephant. They both loved it. We got to see 3 white tigers. It was so much fun to see so many talented performers and animals. Paytyn left saying she wanted to do everything.
It was awesome to watch her see so many fun things.

Our wonderful 4 year old.

There is a much going on with Paytyn. She turned 4 this year, and we've had so much fun with her. We truly are blessed to have this time with her. She keeps asking for siblings ,but I don't think she understands that once we have another baby ,she might not get all of the attention she has come used too. She loves horses and these toys called fur real pets. She likes the littest pet shop, really anything to do with animals. She still likes babies but would rather have it be a baby animal. She stared ctr4 this year at church. I just still can't believe we have a child in primary. She likes different tv shows and likes to watch them on netflix. She has 2 befriend chloe and Quinn. She loves playing with both of them. She really likes having all her cousins in one place this Christmas. She loves playing with her cousin johnnie, who lives in ny and she doesn't get to see very much. She tolerated her cousin Rex. She likes newborn babies but once they get big enough to touch her stuff or her, she doesn't like them as much. Jim is working on a big project at work. It should be done in April. So maybe then we'll see him for just an hour before bed. But he's doing great at this job. He's a hard worker and this new job is giving him lots of new challenges and excitement.
It is closer to where we live and its nice to go have lunch with Jim when he's not so busy. Paytyn loves running to him at the end of the day to give him hugs and kisses . He says its his favorite time of day when she does that.

Whats new with us.

Well Ive been really feeling like I need to blog again. Paytyn is growing so fast. There is so much I want to remember. Paytyn is still asking for siblings. She asked last night if we could go to heaven today to see her sisters and brothers. I told her we couldn't go, cause only babies that weren't born yet and people that died are there. She was a little sad, that she couldn't go visit heaven. She Started school this past September. She really likes it. She has a boy that's a friend, named Lucas. She really likes to do arts and crafts. She likes to paint, color, glue, and of course cut paper. She tells me theres a mean girl at school. She didn't know her name, she would just tell me stories of "the mean girl". I stopped working and am really enjoying watching Pay grow up. Over Christmas Paytyn and I were able to go back to New York. We had a great time until we all got the flu. We still enjoyed seeing everyone. We missed April and Matt. But were able to skype with them on Christmas morning. We started taking turns opening presents, and when it got to Paytyns turn her uncle Court got her a present, he opened it, and started to cry. Cause as she put it " I already have jeans". It was very funny. She opened more gifts and was very happy. She was lucky this year. She has 2 Christmas's. Since Paytyn and I went to NY for Christmas we had Christmas with Jim early. We went out to dinner at Texas Road House. Paytyn was playing and switched seats with me and a few minuets later a sign fell on Paytyn. She was fine, a little shocked but fine. And we got our dinner for free. Jim started a new job, about 8 months ago. He really likes it. He seems to have a great group of people that he works with. He has a huge project he's working on right now, so that means we don't see him that much. We do enjoy our family time together. This past summer we went to seven peaks a lot. We got the pass of all passes and Paytyn and I enjoyed most of of summer at the water park. We did have a chance to go back to NY. Where Paytyn went to farm camp. She got to wash cows, ride horses, feed animals and she caught her first fish! She was very excited and looks forward to going fishing this summer with Jim.
