Bowling.

 On Saturday we headed out to Rocklin to celebrate Charles' birthday with some bowling.  Sienna obviously didn't fit into bowling shoes so we put socks on her so that she didn't wear her shoes on the lanes.  She had a great time bowling for the first time but had a hard time waiting for our turn to come around.

We totally lost but it was still fun to take her bowling for the first time 

and celebrate that silly guy Charles!

Catching up...starting with the chickens...

 A couple of weeks ago I had a hankering to try out a recipe I had for stuffed zucchini, but unfortunately the grocery store had some seriously lackluster choices for us.  Our friend Joy was gracious enough to let Sienna and I come down and pick zucchini right out of her garden and let Sienna see her chickens!

  I was so surprised, but she actually was willing to touch a chicken!

and fed the chickens.

Sienna had a great time and we were so thankful for the outing and the zucchini.  I didn't cook the zucchini enough when I made it, but Joy just brought us another one to church last week so that we can try again.
