Our beautiful baby Ruth is not such a baby anymore! She has such a fun personality and loves to laugh and play. She loves to have her picture taken and even started to pose and make faces for me when I have the camera.

Another thing that reminds me that Matthew is not such a little boy anymore is that he rides the bus home from school now, all by himself! He was worried at first, but as soon as he got off the first day he asked if he could take the bus everyday.

Matthew's kindergarten teacher makes a crown for the kids if it is their birthday. He talked about getting a crown for days. He was so proud of his crown that when he got off the bus he was still wearing it!!

Turning 6!!!

I still can't believe that Matthew is six years old!!! He has grown so much in the last few months in more than one way and he is getting more independent and confident each day.
He kept asking for a party so we decided to let him have one on Veteran's, since there was no school and weekends are not good for us. He invited six friends over for a Ben 10 party. It was crazy with that many boys and all their jokes that made no sense, but it was fun and definitely worth it!
We made pizzas and then the boys got to run through the obstacle course Nathan worked very hard on all morning. Matthew got some Nerf dart guns for hi birthday and at the end of the course their was a target range. The targets were all aliens we had drawn for family home evening that week. The boys had so much fun, each of them going through the entire obstacle course at least four times! We finished off with cake and ice cream, of course!
