Seven Months

Baby girl is seven months!!! She is still such a happy baby but has really become a mama's girl. Especially in the evenings. She is wearing 6-9 month clothes and a size 3 diaper. Gracie started solids this month and was not a fan the first couple of weeks. Now I think she would prefer to skip baby food and go straight to cheetos, french fries and goldfish. It is so funny how she watches Charlie eat all the good food. She was such a good little traveler on our drive to Kansas and I hope she keeps it up. She is sitting up on her own but still refuses to turn over. Knowing her she will be scooting on her bottom instead of crawling.

Team Night

The fabulous second grade team (-1) had such a fun time at The Melting Pot for a girls night out and gift exchange. We each brought 6 of our favorite item to give away. It was so much fun unwrapping the gifts and getting goodies. A great change from Secret Santa. Plus getting to wine and dine for several hours away from school was wonderful. We definitely need some more girls nights.

Mom's Club

Our school has started a Mom's Club for teachers kids. This was the second event for the year. It is a fun time to make a treat and craft with kids right at school for us busy moms. Grissel and I hosted in my room. The kids made sugar cone trees and scratch off ornaments. I had a nice time visiting with my coworkers.

Breakfast with Santa

Rudolph greeted us at the door for a special breakfast with Santa.

Pajama Night

Friday night we got dressed in pajamas and headed to Barnes and Noble for a special story time.

Charlie and Lindsey enjoyed some hot chocolate and cookies while listening to the Polar Express.

Afterwards we bundled up to walk around the Lakeway Trail of Lights.
