Handy Lindee

This is the closet in Logan and Baby #2's room before. It also houses some of my tanks that don't fit in me and Lances closet because our closet is also this big. I actually had removed a little shelve in the closet before this was taken, so yes, it was worse.

Here is almost after, I put Logans book shelf in the closet and screwed it into the wall. I hung two curtain rods on either side (using stud finder and electric drill BOOYA), each cost $6 from lowes. I had the bins already, I went thru them and took many things to the DI that were broken or pointless toys (from Mcdonalds and such).

I went downstairs at this point and dug out all my old baby clothes, washed and organized them and here they are!

I labeled the sizes and fit 0-12 months in the closet a long with Logans cloths, Burp rags, socks, shoes, and many many toys.

More nesting I guess

I had to post my basement closet, I've got all Logans clothes cleaned, saved, and organized for this next little one. I also bought those vacuum storage bags for all the linens we've got around. I can't believe how much space all those blankets and pillows can take up! It emptied 4 boxes and one full closet and now they are resting on the top shelf of this closet. Next project is my craft center which doesn't exist yet... but will with the help of the DI and hiding the fact that I went to the DI again from the husband. Happy day!

Family Organizer

I decided on the family binder to condense some of the paper work we have around that can't be filed like our monthly bills and Logans school work he brings home. Also we have a family Calender we use. Creating this freed up fridge space and counter space from the all dreaded 'piles' that accumulate. I got the idea from iheartorganizing.blogspot.com. She is kind of my hero and one day my house will look like hers but until then, I'll take it a day at a time.

This is the first thing I've scrapbooked in years since Nursing School started.

This is a goal really, I used to do this so well. When Lance is on graves it gets

hard to want to cook for just me and Logan.

I loved this idea to log important dates

Under my finance tab I have my budget sheet for bills that month, I log the bills when they come in the mail and then put the mail in my expandable folder under the correct month, once a year I go through the folder and file the things needed to be filed and shred the rest! Works for us and consolidates unnecessary trips to the filing cabinet downstairs.

I'm Obsessed

WITH ORGANIZING! Since we've moved back to our condo I feel like we are still half unpacked. Which is kinda true, I still have boxed behind couches and stuffed in closets. I've been feeling overwhelmed by how unorganized everything is. Especially since when I left I had that place spick and span and a place for everything and had those places labeled.. sigh. I suck at life this time around. So I decided to draw some motivation from iheartorganizing.blogspot.com and I'm officially excited to start organizing. My project list is long and I'm going to blog about it on the way to keep me going so be prepared for some really ugly and embarrassing before pictures.

We have another boy on the way and we are thrilled. Since everyone is so opinionated on our name choice, the name we have chosen for then next 4 months is BAT! My mom thinks it's going to be Laman or Lemuel. She is being punished for thinking the names I'm coming up with are girl names. I pretended I thought they were the good ones in the Book of Mormon and that Nephi was the bad one. I love making her mad :).

This little one is measuring bigger than they thought so they moved my due date to the 18. Then I followed up with my regular doctor and told him I didn't plan on being induced so if the baby doesn't come by the 25th (original due date) then we'll worry. He feels I wont go even that long. I try to tell these people that I just make big babies but whatev.
