The Change of Me after working in Singapore

Before Singapore and after quiting my 1st job,

Everyone stops wondering like Alice once they have grown up. Maybe they feel there's nothing much to be wondered in this world OR they have lost their imagination they had once gained during childhood.

I am part of them, until the day I resigned my ever 1st job, until the day when I have had enough lying on the bed day-dreaming, until the day when someone told me I should start blogging, I realize I had lost my wonderland long long time ago. (WED, 06 AUG 2008 12:50 SST)

No point day-dreaming to search for wonderland. Always make a step and you'll see the difference. Dreams come true only when you have tried to make a change in your life. I've grown up to know the reality. (WED, 08 June 2011 22:48 SST)

Unbelievable...

walao.. It's been a year I didn't blog. So unbelievable.

I finally decided to resign from my previous job in DBS. Many ppl don't quite believe it that I quit in order to go Ipoh staying with my husband. (Lucky you, Patrick)

I know, with the team I was with, I would be on the fast track to raise in my career ladder. But, in the end, I'll lose my personal life, my family, my friends and the most important thing - my health. Does it worth for me being a Vice President and a team manager with monthly income of SGD8k - 10k?

Though I know the answer is NO, I still feel sorry for myself for letting go all the efforts that I had spent in DBS building up my career there. Anyway, I need to give up something in order to gain something bigger - a balanced life. Let's try and see what would happen for the coming year. Sure, it'll be very challenging.
