We looked forward to the anticipated Christmas gathering for so long...it was WONDERFUL to have all three of our precious little ones finally together at Grandpa and Grandma's home.

This door is from my in-laws' house...the original Harper Hotel. Originally we hung it above our fireplace, but when we returned home from our mission it had been taken down. I

have searched for the just the right place for it and believe I have finally found just the right corner for it.

Let It SNOW!!!

An early snowfall brought excitment to our morning. It is the first time we have seen snow in October.

Welcome Nicholas Lane!

September 27, 2009 Lane joined our family. We were so excited to meet him. Of course he is just perfect! We can't wait for our next visit...grandchildren are WONDERFUL!

Daddy's Girl...AMAYA!

In September we went to visit Kyle and his family...(guess I best get the date right on my camara) . He is the cutest dad and is spell bound by his little princess. Kyle even smiles for pictures now! Amaya is a very calm, sweet baby. Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks!!

Koby Family Reunion

All of the planning and now it is a memory. We enjoyed a relaxing time on a beach in South Carolina with my family. The weather was great, ocean was warm, food was delicious, everything was just perfect. Well almost perfect we lacked a few family members. Families are priceless.

Easter Weekend Fun!

The annual Easter Hike was well attended in spite of the WIND! We enjoyed mingling with friends and family and the bbq chicken was great. Our little princess just loves to be on a horse, but the ride after the Easter Hike was just a bit too much for her.

A Birthday Wish...

So Debra tells Lester, "All I want for my birthday is a trip up the river to get some big rocks to landscape with." Sounds good...right??? We enjoyed our outting, it was a beautiful day. But before the boulders were in place, Lester had a smashed finger and a dent in the truck. Next year a trip to the store may be easier!

Now to wait and see how it all looks as the shrubs grow and leaf out and planters with colorful flowers bloom.

Yaizah is 2!

This past weekend found us in Arizona to be with Nick and family at Yaizah's birthday party. I think the best part of being a grandparent for me is seeing Lester be a grandpa...he is a natural at it. Only wish we had had more time out there. Now it looks like we will be staying put as our first smudge season home will be here before we know it.

Amaya's Blessing

We were in Ruidoso, NM to bless sweet, little Amaya. Kyle is a cute daddy. Ashley says he doesn't want to miss out on anything! Unfortunately, this grandma was not feeling well and couldn't snuggle with Amaya. Families are great...we appreciate those that could be there with us. One thing I think I would enjoy about living in the olden days is...having your family all in the same place.
