Oregon Coast!

crab legs anyone?so the armstrong family had a family reunion in oregon on the coast.... and it was cold. but totally worth it. we had a rockin time and we lett the good times roll. now the drive there wasn't my favorite but the view made it worth while. while we were there we saw seals from a distance in teh ocean, sea annenameis, star fish, crabs and tons of dead crabs. the boys and the kids had a good time each making there own sandcastles... they soon were destroyed. and the food was yum! and i have never seen so much soda in my life in one house... it was nuts... ! here are a few pictures i took while we were there.

BELATED BIRHTDAY UPDATE

so i totally had the best birthday ever.... brian and my friends suprized my with an 80's bithday party.... didn't exspect anything at all.... mostly because it was 3 days before my birthday... but it totally rocked! big hair,crazy loud make-up and yum my favorite , tacos for food... but best of all brian got me my dream of all dreams .... my nikon d 60 camera... and yes i cried when i opened it... i was so excited... so now i am one step closer to being able to make lots of money for taking pictures! Dreams Do Come True! : )

so does this man remind you of anyone? how about moses. instead of an ark he has a bike, and short shorts. he was my favorite man there. he rolled up on his bike and parked it, then cut in front of everyone waiting in line and never looked back... he was great.

so this sweet man was saying heyee---ya really loud to have his dog pull him in the wheel chair.. and yes that is a yamaka.

Hyde Park Fair!

ha ha.. so this past weekend brian and i and our friends sam hill and his lady friend heather went to the Hyde park fair and oh my goodness was there some of the most unusual people i had ever seen in my life. and i got to give props to those of same sex loving people, you hide yourselves very well day to day, but man all mighty did they come out at the fair. it was a schmorgasborg of hippie lovin'. i had a wonderful time being out of my comfort zone, quite an interesting experience. all in all it was great and i got to take some pics of my favorite people and things i saw there. by far my most favorite thing i saw was an old woman dressed in a skort and a tie-dye tank top, Birkenstocks faded and worn so much they were tearing, and some short white hair playing hacky-sac, and she was kicking all the young hippies butts... she was amazing!

Brr!!

So earlier this year Brian and i went to McCall for our first year anniversary ... and i was cold. It also had the most snow we had seen in a really long time. Sadly we missed the snow carving show by a few days but we were able to get a picture of a train that was still standing. There wasn't much to do but drive around and look at the small town attractions. It took only 20 min to look at them all but it was worth it because we got some killer ice cream from this small shop and some delectable chocolates. Then the next day we went to a down home cooking ma and pop restaurant and wow is all we have to say about that place. It had down right the best ribs i had ever had in my life. It was all you can eat ribs, corn bread, homemade chili, soda, veggies and potato's... for get, this 13 dollars a plate... We both walked out of there very full and pleased with our wise decision of looking this place up online. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the McCall area and want some good ribs. We love to go 4x4 ing so we were able to go on a few adventures in the woods. while Brian drove i was in charge of taking pictures. this is where i wish i had the camera i do now. but we made due and got some beautiful pictures of the mountains and everything around. Yes... that included the 7 feet of snow under our feet. then the 3 more feet following the next day. :)

sweet!!!

so for my birthday i got a Nikon d60 camera.... Yahoo! so its pretty much the most amazing gift i have ever gotten. now i can hopefully start making some money off of something i'm pretty good at. so over all my birthday was great. i got a surprise 80's birthday party thrown for me... which was oh so righteous... and i had 1 family party already and now i get to have one with my side of the family this Sunday... so all in all i get to have 4 birthdays... not to shabby if you ask mwa.
