Craig has been out of town so me, Michelle and the girls got to get the house ready for Christmas all by ourselves. I have never put the lights up on our house before...so I let Michelle do that, while I trimed the bushes and put lights in them. I got our tree and Michelle and I carried it in to find out it is to tall for the room we want it in. So we are waiting for Craig to come home and cut it shorter. Boy do we miss Craig! Once he gets home tonight I don't think I will EVER let hime go again!!!

Princess Training

This post is for Craig...He is out of town and wanted me to post about it for him to see:)

So along with teaching the girls reading, math and writing etc...there are a lot of other things I would like to teach them as well. Considering I have ALL girls (yes we just found out we are expecting our 6th) teaching them how to run a house and how to cook are important to me. I also am so excited to have a very large family but I would rather not have all 100 of my kids running around crazy all the time:) so teaching them manners is important to me. So I have come up with 5 theme days we do each day of the week after we are done with school.
1. Is Home Management Training
2. Cooking
3. Eagle Ridge
4. Field Trip Day
5. Princess Training.
Today was princess training. In princess training we learn everything a princess would need to know. We get are lesson plans from Princess Diaries... just kidding. We work on all sorts of manners, dinner etiquette, inner beauty, and pretty much anything that has to do with helping them become better people. So today we learned about how we should act at a formal event or AKA a wedding reception. The girls had so much fun and then we went to my cousins reception and practiced what we learned. After it was over I asked them how they did and they said that some of the kids were playing tag but they didn't play because I told them princess don't run at a formal reception:) By the way they had SO MUCH fun!! They got to dance to Thriller...who could ask for a better evening!:)

Happy Birthday Kembri!

Today is Kembri's 3rd Birthday! Lucky for us it rained all day so Craig was able to take the day off and spend the whole day with us. We started the day out with our traditional Birthday Girl Pancakes, opened presents and had cake. Then we went to the Carniege Science Center then out to dinner at Buca Di Beppo's. Kembri said the family prayer tonight and it went like this...Thanks for Science Center, come home, out to Dinner.... So if she remembered her day in her prayers It must have been fun. She was so cute because she was SO excited for her Birthday. This picture was actually taken last Friday. We went out to Red Robin and they sang to her and gave her ice cream. So I think she linked Birthday's with ice cream!

Wings Over Pittsburgh

On 9/11 I took the girls to there first air show. We could see it from our house but I have always wanted to take them to one so we went ahead and went to it. One of my favorite memories with my grandparents is when they took me to an air show. My Grandpa flew for the Airforce and was VERY into planes! My Dad actually proposed to my Mom on my grandpa's plane. Since I thought it was so cool when I was little....I thought my little ones might too. It was a whole lot of walking but it was also really neat!

Dr. Carlisle Cullen

Me and the girls were at the mall last weekend and they were having a big Twilight thing going on. So of course we went over to check it out. They had the guy that played Carlisle there. We got a great picture of him with Lacie!:) I am sure if he saw the picture of himself he would be so pleased.

Pennsylvania

This year we decided to home school our girls. Craig didn't get his application in early enough to ASU to get any good classes. What do these things AND these pictures have to do with each other ??? Well we realized we had a couple of months with nothing tying us down to AZ so we decided to go on a roadtrip...kind of. We thought it would be fun to have Craig go and sell back East somewhere and we could all go and see the sites! So we ended up in Pennsylvania. We found a cool waterhole right by our Apt. It has a rope swing and Craig and Lacie had a blast swinging in!! I was proud of my girls the water was freezing but they all got in!

Justin Won

So at the beginning of the summer the girls and I had lots of plans of baking and raising money to go to Disneyland. My brother Justin decided in March or April to run for the State House of Representative. So instead of a summer filled with baking and camping and Disneyland it was filled with House Parties and Tea Parties, Debates, Fundraising, Precinct walks, Phone calls and lots of fun campaign stuff. But it paid off! The evening of August 24th after spending the day standing out at the polling places we all gathered at Native New Yorker and watched as Justin tied to the vote with the current Speaker of the House!

Prayer Works!

Yesterday I was SOOO tired...more then tired! I just couldn't get my body to move! Alexa has been sick so I thought maybe I was getting sick. Ever since I had my baby I have been having an extra hard time having energy!! So this morning I woke up and I knelt down and I really asked Heavenly Father to give me more energy!:) And I swear it worked!!!! Today I think I accomplished more then I normally do in a week! I scrubbed the downstairs bathroom, mopped the kitchen floor, made 4 loaves of bread, remembered to put the dinner in the crock pot, made dinner rolls, did a load of dishes and a couple of loads of laundry,went to Wal-mart and then the Library, went to Costco and bought myself a pair of pants and 3 new shirts:) and picked up Craig's prescription, and managed to get ready and go to Enrichment Night..I mean Relief Society Meeting. And I finished the night up with watching an episode of LOST. To most of you that is probably a normal day. But for me that was a miracle in action!!! Honestly normally I start to do something and somebody walks in and pulls me away. I don't feel like I ever really get anything done. Oh yeah I even took a 10 minute nap while I was trying to get Cess to sleep. :)

Kembri, Kembri, Kembri

I was just looking at my old posts and I saw how Kembri use to walk around and say "feed" all day long. Well now she says, "Me need food, BAD!" I guess I need to try to figure out how to get her even more food :)!!! The problem is she doesn't ever eat anything I make her...except of course sugar!

Cessille Crawling

Cessille started crawling this last week end. A week or so ago I put her down on the ground for the first time in a while. And I was so surprised because she was almost crawling. But we can officially say she was for sure crawling last week end. We were up in Utah for confrence and she was in the hotel moving like crazy!

Lacie'S 2nd Grade Musical

I was super impressed with Lacie's 2nd Grade program. They sang so good! And her costume was so cute:)..yeah I made it. Well me and my mom...and Michelle. I haven't sown since JR. High. But thanks to my mom it turned out great.

Patriotic Program

Alexa has an amazing kindergarten teacher!!! They are always making really cool stuff. Since she is in only half day they didn't get to be in the 'real' kindergarten program so her teach took it upon herself to teach these two classes a whole patriotic program. It was really good!

Lacie's Baptism

Lacie's Baptism was so special. I am so thankful to have the gospel in my life! I know that it is because of it's teachings that I am so happy! I know that it is lead by a true prophet of God. And I know that as we follow him we are so much happier! I am so glad that my husband could be the one to bring Lacie into Christ's Church. I am so glad and blessed to have a worthy priesthood holder in our home. Lacie is so sweet and you can just see the testimony she already has. I am so happy that she decided to be baptized. I know that during this last year while she was reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it she felt the spirit testify to her that it is a true book.
All they kids that were getting baptized and their siblings were asked to sing "I know My Savior Lives". After we went over to the church baseball field and had cake and cream. Most all of our families that live her came which was so nice. Amber and her kids even flew down just for it.

Alexa's First Feild Trip

For Alexa's first field trip she went to the Bear Factory. I was lucky enough to beable to go with her. She is so cute with all of her friends. A side note about Alexa... Her and her friends at school have a BFF club (Best Friend Forever). Well one day I was talking to her about her friends and she said that one of her friends kicked her out of the club. She wasn't upset or anything, it was just a matter of fact. I asked her why had they kicked her out? She said because she invited another girl to part of their club. And I guess the 'leader' said it was her club and she wasn't alowed to invite other people in. I told her not to worry they would probably let her back in soon. So the next day I asked her if they let her back in. She said Yeah they did but then they kicked her out again because one of the boys asked if he could join and everybody said no except Alexa said yes he could. I was so proud of her. She knew she would get kicked out and these have been her best friends all year long but she didn't care she wanted to include anybody that wanted to be apart of it. Later she told me that a bunch more kids joined HER club and all the girls from the old club came over too :) And one of her rules is you can invite anyone who wants to be in the club in.

Dinner with Lacie

The night before Lacie's Baptism Craig and I took Lacie out for dinner. I told her several months ago that we wanted to do this with her and she could hardly wait. First we took her to buy new scriptures. While we were waiting for her name to be put on her scriptures , we read this book called My Three White Dresses. It made us all cry :)! Then we asked her where she wanted to go to eat she said Panda Express. We were trying to talk her into something else...what about Outback, Olive Garden..at least Pei Wei's??? But nope it was Panda Express that she choose. So we figured we could splurge a little on dessert and went to Cold Stone. It is so amazing how much these kids love to have one on one outings!!! It didn't matter were we went she was just so happy to have some quality time with her parents. This girls love language is definitley quality time!

Lacie Got Her Ears Pierced

Lacie has been wanting to get her ears pierced for a while now. So for her birthday she got a gift certificate to Claire's from one of her friends. So Craig and I talked about it and we told her if she wanted to use it to get her ears pierced she could. She was so proud of herself because she had a goal not to cry, but she thought she would, and she didn't. She was so excited. Her aunt Michelle even came down to watch her.

Green Smoothie

Green smoothie....yum..yum! I have actually learned to like it. Through in some kale, bell peppers, squash, carrots, orange, apple, broccoli a little water and blend it together. I swear everyday I drink this and work out I lose a pound. If I don't I don't lose weight. Last night I drank two BIG glasses of this. That was an accomplishment!! When I first started drinking this I could barley drink 1/4 cup:)

Cessilee rolled over last Thursday, January 28. She was laying in the hallway while I was bathing the girls. I left her on her back with her pacifier but she dropped it and was trying to get it so she ended up rolling over reaching for it. :) She is just so cute! None of my girls have ever been like her. She loves me SO much:) It is so fun! Most of our girls could careless if it is me or Craig holding them, as long as it is one of us. But Cessilee enjoys Craig holding her but while he is holding her she just stares at me. We will be watching a movie and Craig will be holding her and I look over and she is just staring at me. Tonight I was on the treadmill downstairs and Craig had her and he walked upstairs and he said she started looking back and forth trying to find me. It is so cute and so fun to be loved:) And she is ALWAYS smiling! All of my kids have been happy and easy babies but she is REALLY easy! She is 4 months old now.

Lacie's 8th Birthday

For Lacie's Birthday she said she wanted to have just a small party. She just wanted to invite...and started naming off names...a few girls to her was about 20 :) I am glad she didn't want A LOT! It turned out good though we did games at out house and just ate hot dogs and ended with a scavenger hunt which, thanks to my mom, was the hit of the party!

Lacie Finishes the Book of Mormon

Tonight Lacie finished reading the Book of Mormon. She turns 8 on Saturday and is baptized in about 3 1/2 weeks. We really wanted for her to read it before she got baptized and she made it! I am really proud of her. Some days she was reading up to 5 pages a day. Today she was so excited to finish she read like 15! And the cool thing is I feel like she really understood most of it. I feel so blessed to have a husband with such a great knowledge and deep love for the Book of Mormon and that he is able to pass that strong love for it on to our girls and can really make them come alive to them! One night he was in reading with Lacie and Alexa and said they had to go to bed. The girls begged him to keep reading but he told them they would have to read it the next day. The next morning Lacie told me that after Craig left Alexa had said to her, "Lacie just sneak your Book of Mormon out and read to us!" They are so cute. Craig and Lacie started this handshake, if she got her pages read before he got home from work they would do their special handshake. She would try so hard so they could do their handshake. I am so excited for Lacie to get baptized! I feel so excited for her to be able to get the gift of the Holy Ghost! It just hit me one day how excited I am for her to receive that gift. Here we are raising these kids in such hard times and every day we pray for them and worry about them and have to send them off to school all alone. Now Heavenly Father is giving her something that will help her SOO much!! All the time when I am not there to help her make decisions or to comfort her when she gets sad, the Holy Ghost will be. A constant companion, WOW! I know it is probably strange that I am just now realizing what an amazing gift it is but it is just so comforting to me to know she has such amazing help from on high!

ASHLYN TURNS 4!!

Happy Birthday ASH!! What a sweet little girl she is!! She is so loving and kind. She loves to mother everybody! When Kembri was born and Ashlyn was only 20 months she would run in every morning and jump up on the bassinet and want to see the baby. And she still has not changed! She is the one who holds Cessilee ALL THE TIME!! She is always ready to jump up and help out. She is so sweet!!

Kembri

So Kembri walks around all day long and says, "feed?" (that's how she says food) She never gets full. NEVER! From the moment she wakes up all I hear is Feed, Feed, Feed. Finally tonight at dinner she pushes her plate away from and says, "Full." Wow it's a MIRACLE!!

Last Day of Christmas Break

Yesterday was the last day of Christmas Break...I am SOO sad!! I love having my girls home all day! Lacie said I hope this day goes REALLY slow because I don't want to go to school tomorrow. My thoughts were ME TOO!! I just love having them home all day. We had a very busy but very fun Christmas Break. So for our last day we spent it with Amber and her kids, watching a movie, making pizza, drinking Caprisuns and just enjoying life:-) At the end of the day Lacie says, "The day went to fast!" and starts crying! But she ended up having fun seeing all her friends again at school.

HAPPY 2010!!! Every New Year's Eve we get together with all of my cousins, aunts and uncles and go out for Mexican food, go to a movie play games and bang pots and pans at midnight. All the kids go to one house and we get a couple of babysitters and they have a fun party. We have been doing the same thing since I was little and hopefully we will continue it for many more years to come. Some of my youngest memories are from our New Years Eve Party's! HAPPY NEW YEAR....make it a good one!
