Gingerbread Houses and Snow

Today we took Hannah and her cousin sledding. Oh how I've missed the snow!

I LOVE making gingerbread houses, well actually they are usually just made out of graham crackers but this year we decided to try it from scratch! It was definitely more fun. Chris got really creative and made a windmill.

My belly kind of got in the way of the flour and rolling pin...

Hannah had no interest whatsoever with decorating, just with eating the candy.

The Leftovers of Halloween

For some reason, even though I absolutely LOVE Halloween, I just haven't wanted to sit down and blog about it. Every time I sit down to the computer to post about it I just end up waisting time on facebook or something instead. But finally here we are...

The Tuesday before Halloween I took Hannah to Chris' school for treak or treating, at the dorms. Then on Wednesday Hannah's play group had a party where they went on a ghost hunt, decorated cookies, played pumpkin bowling, and more. It was a ton of fun. I wish I had my camera that day because Hannah was so cute. The whole time she just walked around holding hands with one of her friends from nursery.

Thursday evening we went to Haunt the Harn. Chris even got to go with us (in between his classes). I did have the camera that day but of course Hannah refused to have her picture taken!

It was fun though! We rode on a hayride, played carnival type of games, and trick or treated.

Friday we finally found time to carve a pumpkin. Then that evening we went to the ward party. Hannah spent the first part of it in the Moon bounce. She LOVED it!

Saturday we went trick or treating with friends in our neighborhood and then we met up with some more friends to trick or treat in their neighborhood and afterwards we partyed it up with lots of yummy food! Oh and at the party Hannah had her first kiss. I didn't see it, but from what I was told the little boy didn't even know it was coming or have a chance to get away!

A Family of firefighters! We actually had some people think that Chris and I were actually firefighters, I guess with a little yellow tape and duck tape you can fool anyone!

Halloween Hangover

I hope everyone had themselves a wonderful Halloween! For us, due to a very busy week of fun activities and LOTS of candy, we are now dealing with a Halloween Hangover. I'll post pictures and all our fun adventures at a later date. Now back to the candy....

Baby Bump

I'm pretty sure that the minute I'm pregnant I take on the prego bump. Here I am 14 1/2 weeks, 10 pounds heavier, and trying really hard to still fit into my clothes. (I really hate that stage of in between normal clothes and maternity clothes, it just makes me feel fat, not pregnant). And what's with 10 pounds already?! That was totally my goal for my half way mark, definitely not the quarter mark. I better be carrying twins!

But most likely I'm not, and the pounds are from all that lovely icecream and chocolate I started craving since feeling better. Speaking of feeling better... I started back with running. I'm slow, and pretty much shuffle my way through the neighborhoods, but it still feels great to get out. My goal is to run in the 8k Turkey Trot in a month. Chris is joining me (he probably won't even have to train)! Any other Okie friends want to join us?! It's Thanksgiving morning and a ton of fun, let me know and if you want an easy training schedule just come along with me on my runs!
